Sadly, Shreve City Baptist Church has disbanded and closed the doors as of December 22,2024. The church was a lighthouse to the community for just over 75 years. Feel free to post your memories here before we take the page down.

We had a water pipe burst in he ceiling of our nursery sometime Wednesday. We have extensive water intrusion in the entire nursery area and out into the hallway. We are working wit a restoration company to get everything dry and repaired. However, that will not occur in time for us to hold services this Sunday (January 21st) ONLY. We will have services next week..
Come see us then.

We are honored to have Bro. Jason Frazier as our Interim Pastor. Bro. Jason has been with us for several weeks and the church voted today to have him as our Interim as we search for our next Pastor. Come listen to the messages God gives him each Sunday at 10:45 AM. The address is 2810 Knight Street.

We are honored to have Bro. Jason Frazier preaching for us for the next several weeks. Bro. Jason is a former Pastor in our association and will be with us through the end of April. Come worship God with us.

Bro. Gary Faircloth will be back with us this Sunday. We will be resuming conventional Bible Study classes (Sunday School) within the next few weeks. Watch here for the dates we will resume.

If you have been missing our services, you need to come back. God is beginning to do great things in our church. He has great plans for us. We have to be ready and willing to follow His guidance. Don’t miss your blessing by not being here.

If you missed church this morning, you missed a blessing. Bro. Gary Faircloth delivered a wonderful message straight from God’s word. He will be with us for the next few weeks as we seek God’s will for our church. Plan to be in your pew next Sunday. We Love You, God Loves You, and there ain’t nothing you can do about it.

The memorial service for Bro. Gene Nix will start at noon today at Shreve City Baptist. Visitation is at 11:00. We will attempt to live stream the service, starting just before service time.

The home going celebration for Bro. Gene Nix will be Saturday, October 16th,2021 at Shreve City Baptist Church ,2810 Knight Street in Shreveport. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until noon, with the service at noon. Burial will follow in Blanchard. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made in Bro. Gene's honor to Shreve City Baptist Church.
