Shreveport Police Department and Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Financial Crimes Task Force has obtained an arrest warrant for:

Sean Warren... in connection with a stolen check and identity theft investigation.

The investigation began after a local business reported that a box of company checks had been stolen from its mailbox in early April 2026. Detectives determined that multiple stolen checks were later negotiated or presented for payment at financial institutions and retail locations throughout the area, resulting in financial losses.

Through surveillance footage, photographs, and additional investigative efforts, detectives identified a suspect who was observed using the stolen checks during several transactions.

During one attempted transaction, the suspect presented another individual's Louisiana driver's license as identification. Investigators later confirmed that the individual whose identification was used was not involved in the offenses.

Based on the evidence gathered, an arrest warrant was obtained charging Sean Warren with:

• Theft (Louisiana Revised Statute 14:67)
• Identity Theft (Louisiana Revised Statute 14:67.16)

The Shreveport-Caddo Financial Crimes Task Force reminds residents and business owners to regularly monitor financial accounts, secure incoming mail, and promptly report any suspicious activity involving checks, banking information, or personal identifying information.
Anyone with information regarding Warren's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373. Tips may be submitted anonymously
