Bethune/Oak Park Elementary will welcome a highly accomplished school leader for the 2026-2027 school year. Cortney McCall has been named the school’s next principal, bringing a strong record of instructional leadership, school improvement, teacher development, student intervention, and community engagement.

Mr. McCall is a two-time, back-to-back Principal of the Year winner, earning the honor in both 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. His leadership has centered on setting clear, data-driven goals for student achievement, creating meaningful professional development for teachers, strengthening academic supports for students, and increasing family and community participation.

We are excited to welcome Mr. McCall to Caddo and look forward to the leadership, energy, and focus he will bring to the Bethune/Oak Park community.
