Word of the Week: 'ASSOCIATIONS' - Do your associations influence your life choices in a positive or negative way? Whether you realize it or not, something or someone is influencing your life everyday for better or worse. Therefore, be very careful about who you allow to advise or counsel you. Truth is - your beliefs, standards, and way of life are shaped by the people you consistently associate with. Your life is impacted by them either positively or negatively. So, choose wisely! Be intentional about who you allow to influence your thinking because your mindset determines your behavior and your way of life. You can never elevate beyond your current level of thinking. That's why it's imperative that you associate with individuals who encourage you to develop and elevate your mindset. Influence is powerful! Word of the Week: "AGREEMENT"- Are you aligned with people, places, and things that support who you are becoming? If not, reevaluate your connections. You need agreement! Do not waste valuable time and energy on things that do not align with who you are and where you're going. Otherwise, they become distractions. It's imperative to surround yourself with the right people - those who are seeking more from life. As you grow, make it a priority to connect with individuals who are equally dedicated to growth and advancement. Remember, "bad company corrupts good character." Connect with people who align with your values and where you want to go in life. Even though we may not have the same destination or purpose, we should be moving in the same direction - higher. Word of the Week: "EXCUSES" - Are you making adjustments or offering excuses? Honestly, excuses are justifications for staying in the same place. Listen, if it's not working for you - change it. A minor adjustment can have a profound impact on your life. It's common for people to get stuck in their comfort zones with the same people, doing the same things, and getting the same results. That's insanity! It's time to shift. However, until you decide to make different choices, nothing will change. Your future is determined by your decisions. Decisions can propel you forward or hold you back - it's your choice. Remember that your decisions are seeds that will produce a harvest - good or bad. So, decide wisely. No more making excuses - we making adjustments! "Listen to counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come"(Prov 19:20 AMP). Have a blessed week. Word of the Week: "VALUE"- Do you value yourself? You can never truly value others above your own value. How you relate to people is directly connected to how you feel about yourself. That's why it's critical to maintain a healthy self-image. The way you allow others to treat you is a mirror of how you value yourself. Self-worth matters! Work on your insecurities, weaknesses, and undeveloped areas. God created you to evolve and grow! It's important to remember that you will always conduct yourself according to the worth you place on yourself. The more you understand your true identity in God, the more confident you become. Discover who you are — and own it! "The very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows" (Luke 12:7 NLT). Word of the Week: "ATTITUDE" - Do you allow other people or circumstances dictate your attitude? You are responsible for your own attitude. No one can force you to have a good or bad attitude. It's a matter of choice. Don't let unfavorable circumstances dictate what you say and how you behave. Maintain self-awareness. If necessary, adjust your perspective. In life, your attitude determines how far you soar. That’s why it's imperative to have a positive outlook on life. Your life will be filled with trials and tests, but you shouldn't let them govern your life. Be patient with things beyond your control, and adjust accordingly if they are within your control. You usually respond correctly when you view things from a God perspective. In the midst of your storms, always look for the blessing. There is always something to be thankful for. Practicing gratitude can help you to maintain a more positive attitude. Learn to view things differently. It's not always as bad as it seems.
