Join us for an Easter Vigil at Luther Memorial Chapel (Shorewood) Saturday, April 4 at 8pm. The Easter Vigil marks the journey from the darkness of Jesus’ death to the celebration of His resurrection. The service begins with a fire outside the church, followed by a procession into the church by candlelight, symbolizing Christ as the light of the world. A series of Old Testament prophesies are read which tell the story of salvation, from creation, the flood, the fiery furnace, through to the resurrection. This is an opportunity for new members to be baptized and for all to remember their baptisms into Christ. We receive holy communion and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.

Lent Choral Vespers: Sunday, March 15th at 6:30 pm at Luther Memorial Chapel - Shorewood. This fourth Sunday of Lent (Laetare) is traditionally a little reprieve in the midst of Lent. You’re invited to LMC to enjoy a special Lenten choral vespers service followed by fellowship, food, and refreshments in the parish hall.
