Judas walked with Jesus, heard His teaching, witnessed His miracles, and was one of the Twelve—yet he ultimately betrayed Christ.

His story gives us a sobering reminder: the question isn't, “Which one of us is Judas?” The question is, “Do I truly belong to Jesus?”

May we examine our own hearts, cling tightly to Christ, and pray for the grace to persevere to the end.

Someone can be talented, influential, trusted with responsibility, and even deeply involved in ministry—but those things alone are not evidence of saving grace.

Judas had position, responsibility, privilege, and proximity to Jesus. Yet his life reminds us that what matters is not simply what we do for Christ, but whether we truly belong to Christ.

May we care more about godly character than impressive giftedness.

The question isn’t simply, “Am I close to Jesus?”
It’s “Do I belong to Jesus?”

In John 6:70–71, we are given a sobering look at Judas. He was one of the Twelve, walked closely with Jesus, heard His teaching, and witnessed His works—yet he would ultimately betray Him.

“The Judas Among Us” reminds us that outward profession is not always evidence of genuine faith. The reality of apostasy should cause each of us to examine our own hearts and cling faithfully to Christ.

Jesus knows those who truly belong to Him. May we not simply be around Christ, but truly know, trust, and follow Him.

Faithful disciples continue with Christ because they know there is nowhere better to go.

When many turned away, Jesus asked the Twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?”

In John 6:68–69, Peter answers with a powerful confession: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”

This passage shows us what persevering faith looks like:

Faithful disciples continue with Jesus.
Faithful disciples continue to believe Jesus.
Faithful disciples continue to know Jesus.

There is nowhere better to go and no one better to follow. Jesus alone has the words of eternal life.

**What kind of disciple are you?**

When many turned away, Jesus asked the Twelve a simple but searching question:

**“Do you want to go away as well?” — John 6:67**

Following Jesus doesn’t mean we’ll never struggle, stumble, or wander. Our hope is that our salvation doesn’t depend on the strength of our grip on Christ.

**We persevere because God preserves us.**
