Excitingly, calendars cross this year, and we get to celebrate with the rest of our Christian siblings in the world!
Today, we, the Orthodox Christians, celebrate the resurrection of our first Love-- the Lord, Father, and Head of the Family, Jesus Christ.
To our huge family-- Copts and Syrians, Eritreans and Ethiopians, Indians and Armenians, Greeks and Russians Americans and Canadians, Latin American and Australians, Bulgarians and Georgians, Macedonians and Romanians, Serbians and Ukrainians, Albanians and Bosnians -- I wish you all a joyful day! To all patriarchs and bishops, priests and fellow deacons and deaconesses, and lay elders and youngsters, I hope you had a blessed Pascha week, and have a wonderful feast to remember for many years.

To all our fellow believers in the world-- May your day be full of joy and blessings, and may our calendars cross events more often!

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17

It is easy to forget in our society today, that no matter how individual we think we are, we really are not. Everything-- from behavior to even interests -- are learned. Each of us are a unique piece of the puzzle, but not a whole separate one!

The message is simple: let's be responsible organs of the Body. We need to always keep in mind, that whatever we do, whether good or bad, is impacting us as a whole.
This is why the Bible warns us that "bad company corrupts good habits" (1 Cor. 15:33). So my friends, let's stay in fellowship, and always press together towards the ultimate prize -- our Home that awaits in the age to come.

What a day!
Today, we visited our Armenian brothers and sisters at their beautiful church in Redmond, Washington. We participated in the liturgy, and had a quick breakfast with them afterwards. Their hospitality and love was heart-capturing. On behalf of OCSA and and our clergymen from the Coptic church, we presented a humble gift to our beloved Armenian father there. We also made sure to pay our respect to the million+ martyrs of the Armenian genocide (1915). We look forward to further the 1,600+ years of strong relations, by connecting our youth and their youth organization in future spiritual and social outings.
