It's that time of year....get your orders in early!!

In celebration of Jesus' resurrection, we are welcoming orders for flowers that will adorn the Lord's sanctuary on Easter Sunday. This year, we are offering lilies, daffodils and tulips. They cost $8.00 per six inch pot. The flowers will be delivered to the church and placed in the chancel for worship on Easter Sunday. Flowers may be removed from the church after the service.

If you would like to order flowers you can do one of three things:

1) Write your name, flower order and dedications (if any) on a piece of paper. Put it in an envelope with your payment. Write "Easter Flowers" on the front and drop it in the Offering plate on Sunday. OR...

2) You can call the church office and place your order with Kathy, our assistant secretary. You would then bring or mail your payment to the church ASAP. Kathy is usually in on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 to 2:30. Her hours are flexible so, if you call and she does not answer, leave a message and she will call you back. OR...

3) You can send an email to [email protected] with your order. Follow the instruction in step one and bring or mail your payment to the church ASAP.

Orders must be placed by Tuesday, March 23, so don't delay. Thank you very much.

General Worship Service for the Season of Lent

ATTENTION: Due to the snowstorm predicted for tomorrow morning, Saint Luke's Union Church in Shoemakersville will be closed on February 7, 2021, The Annual Meeting and Installation of Officers is temporarily postponed.

We are disappointed to close the church however, the new snow combined with what is left of the last storm will make parking and walking difficult and dangerous.

Hope to see you on February 14 - Valentine's Day. What a great day to praise God for loving us!

It has come to our attention, that a false advertisement for a craft fair on February 13 was to be held at St Lukes. We are NOT having any craft fair at St Luke’s on this date. DO NOT send money to anyone for this event. This is a scam and again there will be NO event on this date !!

On October 14th & 15th( Wednesday & Thursday) Boscov's is having their annual Friends Helping Friends program. On these two days, everyone can save 20% on almost everything they purchase while our fellowship committee earns 5% from each purchase. This includes online purchases. There are no tickets this year, you just have to mention St Luke's Church Shoemakersville at the cash register when you check out and we will get the credit. We understand that you may have your own ties to another organization and that is ok. But, if you don't and want to help a great organization while saving 20% on your purchases, we would greatly appreciate it.
