Today marked the completion of the first official project of Shiremanstown's Community in Motion project - planting perennial flowers in Memorial Park's brand-new rain gardens (we even had some extras to plant in front of the borough office)! We are honored to be part of this project and can't wait to see what comes next.

Help us create Memorial Park's first ever rain gardens as part of Shiremanstown's Communities in Motion initative. 🪴🪻🌾

Join us for a Community Planting Day in Shiremanstown’s Memorial Park, August 29 from 10am-12pm.

Use the Google form to select which plants you would like to purchase from a local nursery and place in the rain gardens.

NOTE: ONLY plants from the provided list and purchased from a nursery will be accepted. Plants from home gardens WILL NOT be accepted.

Due to this weekend's Church Retreat, we will have one combined Sunday School class in the sanctuary at 9:00, followed by one service at 10:00.

Today's services are cancelled. We have no power and the building is very hot. Travel in Mechanicsburg and Shiremanstown is also hazardous with all of the downed tree limbs on the roadways. We will move forward with our regular schedule beginning on Wednesday.

During yesterday's services, we had the pleasure of hearing from Dale about Gideon's International. Many people know the Gideons as the people who put Bibles in hotel rooms, but the organization does SO MUCH more!
