The Children’s Garden of St. John’s is seeking a **Director** to lead our faith-based early childhood program!

We are a ministry of St. John’s Lutheran Church, nurturing children (infant through kindergarten) in a **play-based, relationship-centered environment** where they are known, loved, and encouraged to grow. Our mission is simple and central to all we do:

You may have noticed that Pastor Elizabeths book study is starting on wednesday! Please join her! You may also notice that she put all the wrong chapters in her outline. This is what she gets for trying to do work at nighttime when her dear sweet Everett decides not to sleep. Thankfully our avid book readers caught her big mistake! There's only 9 chapters in the book! Here's the breakdown

Dear Church Family,

When we arrived for worship this Saturday evening, we expected to gather for prayer and praise. Instead, we were met with a noticeable gas odor and discovered there was no heat in the sanctuary. Out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety, we made the decision to cancel Saturday worship and exit the building.

Our HVAC unit has a broken part that is being repaired. However, it will not be fixed in time for us to have adequate heat in the sanctuary.

Therefore, we will gather for worship on Sunday, February 15th at 9am in the Education Building Atrium.

If you would like to help us prepare the space for worship, please come to the Education Building around 8:15am.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to our Saturday night worshippers for their calm, swift action and gracious understanding. Your care for one another reflects the very heart of our community. I would also like to thank Gareth Pahowka for answering the call for help, getting REMCO on the phone, and moving quickly to assist us in addressing the issue.

Safety matters. Community matters. Worship matters. And we will gather — just in a different space this week.
