In January, we let our supporters know in our year end giving letters that we had exciting news coming.
That news has been delayed by Jimmy's foot injury since he has spent the last few months testing, waiting on doctor appointments, then, surgery, recovery and physical therapy until he could finally drive to get our "NEW TO US" bus.
We have prayed for a long time for something like this! Last year, we received some incredible news about a donation for this prayer need (ministry vehicle) and some other needs that we have had as a ministry for a while (updating our computer - which we were able to do- hooray!!) and the other answered prayer is yet to be announced as we are still in process of finishing out the final steps to complete that project.🥰)

3 Major ministry - prayer needs were met. Of course, that was followed by personal attacks, but God is always greater! Jimmy is back on two feet and able to drive long distances. 🙌

For ministry events like taking youth students from New Era Youth to camp, to picking up children and even adults, grandmas and grandpas for VBS (since our VBS programs here are for ALL ages), to taking short term mission teams out to serve on the Navajo Nation and more, we are thankful, immensely so, to have been blessed with the funds for this vehicle, our new ministry computer and other upcoming announcements in our ministry to Native America. And while posting publicly, we are keeping our donors names unlisted so as to maintain their privacy. The Lord is blessing so that we can be a blessing to others. 🩷

Today we are reminded of the Wonderful Blood of Christ Jesus and of His Resurrection, the Price He paid for our Redemption and how very tenderly He thought of each one of us enough to sacrifice Himself so that we might have opportunity to turn and be reconciled to Him - and walk in deep relationship with Him, the creator of the universe and lover of our souls.

Would appreciate everyone's prayers for Jimmy as he undergoes surgery today for a syndesmosis injury/complete syndesmosis rupture on his right foot - especially for a swift and total recovery.

***Update***Thank you to everyone who has been praying! This surgery has been much more painful than expected for Jimmy and the week has been quite challenging, but he/we are making it and doing well. Recovery is slow and he won't be able to walk or try walking on it (although at this point I don't think he can imagine walking on it) for another week. Physical therapy doesn't start for another 3 weeks.For now, he is non-weight bearing completely and spending a lot of time with it elevated above the level of his heart and on ice. 🥰 We sure are thankful for your prayers and would appreciate those to continue! Can't wait to have him back on both feet again. 🩷

Last Sunday, our son, Wesley, had the honor of preaching at Living Springs Church on the Navajo Reservation. This is a place where he first came to when he was 10 years old. It's a place that has grown to be very dear to us and where we always feel welcome. Recently, several tragedies have occurred in the community. Wesley preached a sermon that addressed the message that life has a meaning and a purpose (in Christ Jesus) but also brought laughter and light-heartedness through a story of his own life, "Lessons on the River", to an area that desperately needed to be lifted up above despair.

As parents, it has been amazing to stand back and watch as all three of our children have begun functioning in the skills, giftings, and talents given from the Lord recently - preaching, teaching, encouragement, prayer, music, evangelism, mentoring, administrative skills, creative/media arts, baking, cooking, and more. We are so thankful for what the Lord is doing in their young adult lives!

Our time last Sunday was filled with hugs, laughter, the ability minister in prayer, and to listen to the things that concern our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

We pray Wesley's message encouraged those who were able to hear it and that they can hang onto his words. I hope to post it on YouTube soon but for now, here are the high points.

1. Listen to the Lord at all times (not just when things get rough) 
2. Hold onto the Lord in times of trouble
3. Obedience is key (even in times of panic)
4.Make it count
