Cornerstone Church of Clarion

Cornerstone Church of Clarion You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. We Believe:

a. b. c. He died on the cross for our sins. d. e. f.

The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, without any error, the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, living as 100% fully God and 100% fully man. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the

right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate. We believe that man and woman were created in the image of God. We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man’s works and is possessed by any and all who have repented (turned away from sin), have faith in, and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We believe baptism is an outward sign of a person’s understanding of their need for Jesus Christ and of their own free will have accepted Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

Youth Trip Update!

Our Cornerstone Youth Group has been busy exploring the wonders of the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, asking great questions, learning together, and making memories along the way. After a full day of adventure, there has also been plenty of laughter, fun, and enough snacks to sustain a small expedition.

The bus decided it wanted a little attention during the trip, but that’s where having a driver who also happens to be a mechanic becomes a tremendous blessing. What could have been a setback turned into just another story for the trip scrapbook!

As the adventure continues, our group will be making a stop in Ohio to spend time witnessing and sharing the hope of Christ in a local park. We are excited to see how God uses our teens as they step outside their comfort zones and put their faith into action.

Be sure to join us this Sunday at Cornerstone Church of Clarion at 10:30 am to hear firsthand testimonies and stories from several of our teens about what they learned, experienced, and how God worked throughout the trip.

Thank you, Cornerstone family, for your prayers, encouragement, and support of this dynamic youth group. Your investment is helping shape the next generation of Christ-followers, one road trip, one conversation, and apparently one bus repair at a time!

Acts 8:26–40 follows Philip as God leads him to an Ethiopian official searching for truth. Through their conversation, the man discovers that Scripture points to Jesus, and his journey ends in faith, baptism, and joy. This passage reminds us that God is still pursuing hearts and changing lives in unexpected places.

Join us Sunday at 9:00 am for Sunday School and 10:30 am for Worship Service. Our Youth will lead us in worship, and we will honor our graduating seniors.

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who never made it home. Their sacrifice purchased freedoms many of us experience every single day without even realizing the cost.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the start of summer. It is a sacred reminder that liberty has always carried a price paid by sons, daughters, husbands, wives, parents, friends, and neighbors who gave everything in service to our nation.

We also honor the families who carry both pride and heartbreak in the same hand. Thank you for enduring the empty chair at the table, the folded flag, and the lifetime of remembering. Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Because they stood willing to give all, we are blessed to live as a free people. May we never take that gift lightly.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

This Sunday at Cornerstone Church of Clarion, we continue our journey through Acts with a message titled “Stephen” from Acts 6:1-8 and 7:51-60. Stephen was a man full of faith, wisdom, and the Holy Spirit who boldly stood for truth even in the face of great opposition. His story reminds us what it looks like to live courageously for Christ and trust Him no matter the cost.

Join us for Sunday School at 9:00 am and Worship Service at 10:30 am. We would love to welcome you and your family. You belong here.

If you love in depth, verse by verse studying in God's Word, then you may want to check out Josh and Jonathan's adult Sunday school class. They are beginning a new Bible teaching in the Gospel according to John.
What we "believe" matters. John's main emphasis and purpose in his account of the gospel is, that we know and believe that "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God" (John 20:31). How we respond to that has eternal consequences. We cannot get this wrong. Jesus is more than just a good teacher with good morals. He is God!

This Sunday (May 24th) is the launch and introduction to this new study. All ages are welcomed and invited.
Sunday school is a great way to connect with other believers in studying God's Word together.
