In Ephesians 1, we’re reminded that God has a good plan, is above every authority and power, and sees a bigger picture than we ever could.

This was the heart of Pastor Christy Schale’s message as we kicked off Uprise Festival week! Until the day God makes all things new, we have the opportunity to bring heaven to earth—to help people connect with the eternal and encounter God right where they are.

As Uprise brings thousands together this weekend, we’re praying for every person who attends and serves.

Pastor Nancy A. Hudson shared an inspiring message with us this past Sunday, using the word LEGACY and creating an acronym out of it. Each of us will leave a legacy...it's up to us to determine what it will be! Here are a few of our notes:

LEGACY
L — Loyalty: Be faithful. Bloom where you’re planted and stick with it.

E — Excellence: Live with a spirit of excellence. -Daniel 5:11–12

G — Gratitude: Choose thankfulness over complaining. -1 Thessalonians 5:16

A — Agape Love: Live a life filled with God’s unconditional love. -1 Corinthians 13

C — Care & Courage: Care for others and courageously stand for Jesus Christ.

Y — Yes: Be willing to say “yes” to God and bow your knee to Jesus Christ.
