Don't forget this Sunday at Shippensburg Township Park on Britton Road! Food, Fellowship, Worship, and Fun!

06/24/2026

This week, churches all across Shippensburg are sharing the good news of Jesus through Vacation Bible School.

As believers, we have the privilege of celebrating not only what God is doing at Prince Street Church, but what He is doing throughout His Kingdom. Let's be praying for every church, volunteer, child, and family being impacted by VBS this week.

In this week's Prince Street Midweek video, I share a brief encouragement about having a Kingdom-minded perspective and rejoicing whenever Christ is proclaimed.

After watching, answer this question in the comments:

What is one way you have seen God at work in another church, ministry, or believer recently that encouraged your faith?

Also, don't forget that this Sunday is our Church Picnic! We will be gathering at Shippensburg Township Park rather than at the church building. We look forward to worshiping, fellowshipping, and enjoying the day together.

Every good story eventually reaches its final chapter. It is only at the end that you can look back and see how all the pieces fit together. Questions are answered. Loose ends are tied up. Moments that once seemed confusing suddenly make sense.

Yesterday, we concluded our series through the book of Ruth with a message from Ruth 4, "Redemption Accomplished."

One of the great lessons of Ruth is that God is often doing far more than we can see. Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz could not fully understand what God was accomplishing through their circumstances, but God was faithfully working behind the scenes to bring about His purposes.

The same is true in our lives. Even when we cannot see the whole story, we can trust the God who is writing it.

As you walk through this week:

โ€ข Begin each day by acknowledging your need for Jesus and thanking Him for being your Redeemer.
โ€ข Identify one burden, worry, or situation you have been carrying on your own and intentionally place it into God's hands through prayer.
โ€ข Reach out to one person this week with a word of encouragement, an invitation to church, or a reminder of the hope found in Christ.
โ€ข Spend time thanking God that your salvation rests not in your efforts but in the finished work of Jesus.
โ€ข Pray for the children, families, volunteers, and churches participating in Vacation Bible School throughout Shippensburg this week.

Good morning, church family!

Today we conclude our series through the book of Ruth with a message from Ruth 4, "Redemption Accomplished."

Have you ever looked back on a season of your life and realized that God was doing far more than you understood at the time? What once seemed like uncertainty, disappointment, or unanswered questions eventually revealed God's faithfulness and purpose.

As we come to the final chapter of Ruth, we will discover that God was faithfully working behind the scenes all along. What began with loss and uncertainty ends with redemption, restoration, and hope.

Join us this morning as we worship together, celebrate Father's Day, and are reminded that the same God who was at work in Ruth's story is still faithfully at work in ours.
