Yesterday, we began our new series through the book of Ruth and were reminded that God is often doing much more than we can see.

As you walk through this week:

• Spend intentional time with God each day in His Word and prayer.
• Trust God in the areas of life where the future feels uncertain.
• Take one step of obedience that God may be calling you to take.
• Encourage someone who may be walking through grief, disappointment, or discouragement.

Even when life feels confusing or difficult, God remains faithful. He is still working, still pursuing, and still accomplishing His purposes.

Good morning, church family!

Today, we begin a brand-new series through the book of Ruth called Ruth. In Ruth chapter 1, “The Beginning of Redemption,” we will see that even in seasons of grief, emptiness, and uncertainty, God is still working behind the scenes with His redeeming grace.

No matter what kind of week you may have had, we would love for you to join us this morning as we worship together, open God’s Word together, and encourage one another in Christ.

Sometimes life leaves us feeling empty, uncertain, discouraged, or wondering what God is doing.

That is exactly why the book of Ruth is so powerful.

This Sunday at Prince Street Church, we are beginning a brand-new four-week series through Ruth called Ruth. In Ruth chapter 1, “The Beginning of Redemption,” we will see that God often begins His redemption work right in the middle of grief, loss, and uncertainty.

As you prepare your heart for Sunday:
• Read through Ruth chapter 1 ahead of time
• Ask God to reveal areas where you may be trying to find satisfaction apart from Him
• Pray for those in our church family who may be walking through grief, discouragement, or uncertainty
• Pray that God would draw people to Himself through His Word this Sunday
• Ask God to help you come ready not only to receive His Word, but to respond in obedience

Yesterday at Prince Street Church, we were reminded from John 11:1–44 that God’s love does not always shield us from grief, but it sustains us through it.

In “The Measure of God’s Love,” we saw that Jesus is not distant from our pain. He enters into our grief, walks with us in the waiting, and brings resurrection where we expect only loss.

As you walk through this week:
• Bring your burdens honestly to Jesus
• Trust God even when His timing is difficult to understand
• Remember that Jesus still brings hope into hopeless places
• Encourage someone who may be hurting or discouraged

Because of Jesus, loss is never the end of the story.
