SIX FLAGS, HERE WE COME! Our teens and their chaperones are excited about their trip to Six Flags Mid America! We are planning to leave the church this Monday morning at 9 AM and head up to our hotel, which is right next to the Six Flags Park.
We have over 30 teens and chaperones that will be going on this trip. And everyone is pumped up about it!
We thank God for all of our youth. They are so precious to us. And this trip is our fellowships way to SHOW them how much we LOVE them! Six Flags St. Louis

MAYOR’S PRAYER BREAKFAST: Our Fellowship participated, once again, in the annual Sherwood Mayor’s prayer breakfast. The prayer breakfast is an opportunity to come together and meet other churches, businesses, city servants, and unite around prayer.
This year, once again, our church, Fellowship Christian Center, was recognized as a “Platinum Partner” because of our involvement and support of this prayer breakfast.

MOTHER’S DAY: Our fellowship paid special tribute to the many mothers who attended our our worship service this past Sunday, Mother’s Day.
We had a fresh cut rose to give out to the approximately 30 mothers who were in attendance. Preaching Elder Jesse Griffin acknowledged every mother and paid tribute to them in the opening remarks of his sermon. We love each and everyone of our mothers, and pray the Lord will watch over their families and households.

PRAYER BREAKFAST: As is our Fellowship’s long tradition, we gather together early on the first Sunday of each month for our Prayer Breakfast.
Members bring what they deem to be “fittin’ to eat!” and each attendee loads up a plate.
After a set time, Preaching Elder Jesse Griffin begins the prayer service himself. Others take turns praying what is on their heart.
After it seems like all who have wished to partake aloud in prayer, Pastor Gene ends the service with a closing prayer.
Our fellowship does indeed believe in prayer!

NEW MEMBER: We welcome into our fellowship, our newest member, Christine Witt. Christine was baptized several years ago while she attended a church in the southern part of the county.
After moving up here, she decided on our church. Christine loves the verse by verse teaching out of the Bible and the friendly people at our church.
Welcome Christine! And may you grow in your walk with the Lord.
