What’s Happening:

The Food Pantry is collecting boxed dinners, macaroni and cheese, packets or boxes of rice and/or noodle side dishes during May and June. Thank you for any and all donations you can make.

For the next three months the Holiday Harvest is collecting toys, games and craft kits. Each month will target a specific age group. The month of May is targeting kids ages 5-8. A list of items appropriate for the 5-8 age group (as well as the 9-11 and 12-16 age groups) can be found attached to the Holiday Harvest Poster in the collection area in the Narthex.. Donated items can be placed on the table or in the wagon located in the Church Narthex. Thank you for your support.

Prayer Requests:
* God’s will first. First Christian Church and its ministry to grow and build. Prayers for our country, our leaders and leaders around the world; for our Military personnel stationed near and far. For those struggling with food insecurities and homelessness; The Van ministry; Rolling Fork and volunteers helping them to rebuild, Averie, Emily, Deb, Donna, Karen and Kathy and others. Betty’s grandson, Grant, doing mission work near Iraq. Donna and Kathy’s friend, Ben, doing mission work in Costa Rica. All travelers.

Mission crew update - they are hard at work helping get more houses ready for our neighbors in Rolling Fork. This has become a very special place to our original crew of 3 and they are enjoying sharing it with the others. Please keep them in your prayers in this heat! We know that His Love is shining bright through them this week!

Our trusty 3 has turned to 6! Wishing our mission trip fam an amazing week as they return to Rolling Fork to spread more love and work on houses!! (One of the group not pictured - she was too busy getting ready!)
