Phyllis Tucker, 73, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, 117 W Maryland Avenue, Sherwood, AR 72120.

Mrs. Tucker was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on November 12, 1945 to the late Cecil Robertson and Mary Thompson. Phyllis was a graduate from the Arkansas School for the Blind and Deaf and was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. She retired from the United States Postal Service as a clerk.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Phillip Grabher of Sherwood; daughters, Donna (Robert) Price of Sherwood and Laura (Gerald) Zahn of Bauxite; sister, Kathy Robertson of Clarksville; grandchildren, Kristina Grabher, Brandy Kendrick, Tucker Price, Haylee Price, and Jessica (Aaron) Acklin; and four great grandchildren, Trinity Kendrick, Adian Kendrick, Ashtian Morehead, and Benjamin Acklin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sylvan Hills Deaf Ministry through Sylvan Hills Church of Christ.

Sylvan Hills will begin tomorrow at 11:00am. Out of our concern for your safety, the leadership at Sylvan Hills has decided to delay the beginning of Sunday morning worship service till 11:00am. There will be no Bible classes tomorrow.

We are late in getting the word out - BUT WE ARE HAVING A SPECIAL FELLOWSHIP WEEKEND AT THE SYLVAN HILLS DEAF CHURCH!!! NOTICE:Billy Leavell from Memphis TN - White Station Church - a Deaf Minister for over 40 years in Memphis will be speaking to us SATURDAY August 11th at 5:30 PM to 8;00 PM. We will enjoy Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Home Made Ice Cream. Then on SUNDAY August 12th at 9:00 AM we will have Bible Class and at 10 AM, Billy will preach. Finally, at 11:45 we will have Olive Garden Luncheon. Please consider joining us for all these activities.

NOTE- YOU MUST CALL OR TEXT 501-690-6303 AND INDICATE WHO/HOW MANY WILL ATTEND SATURDAY AND WHO/HOW MANY WILL ATTEND SUNDAY. THIS IS CRITICAL SO THAT WE CAN PLAN TO HAVE PLENTY OF FOOD.
