First Baptist Church-Sherwood Our mission is to: Glorify Christ By "KNOWING, LOVING, and SERVING HIM."

A group of mission-minded Baptists from Gaines Street Baptist Church in Little Rock made a house-to-house survey in 1948 and found enough interested people in the new community of Sherwood to warrent establishing a mission. Update for Sunday, February 1

Due to icy conditions, we are making the following changes to our schedule.

Connections Groups will not meet.

We will gather for worship at 11:00 am. Childcare will be provided.

Everyone will need to enter through the main worship center entrance (parking lot), the office entrance, or the fellowship hall/preschool entrance. Deacons will be at these locations to assist as needed. There will be no parking on Fairway. Cones will be placed in areas for your safety. Please use your own discretion about attending. You will be able to live stream on the church website, Facebook, and YouTube. Everyone please stay safe.

No activities at the church tomorrow night, Wednesday, January 28. The danger of black ice is simply too great to risk it. The parking lot is being cleared, and we are hoping and praying that any remaining water will be evaporated before the weekend.
The church office will also remain closed on Wednesday, January 28.
