Pastor Appreciation Month is a wonderful time to say “thank you,” but one of the greatest ways we can love our pastors is by praying for them.

Pray for wisdom as they lead.
Pray for strength when they are weary.
Pray for protection over their families.
Pray for clarity as they study Scripture.
Pray that they would remain encouraged and steadfast in the work God has called them to do.
And pray that we would be a church eager to hear, receive, and live out the Word of God.

Today, take a moment and lift Pastor Chad and Pastor Ryan before the Lord. 🙏

We understand the principle of sowing and reaping when we look at a field, but Scripture tells us the same principle matters in our spiritual lives. 🌾

What are you planting through your words? Your habits?
Your time?
Your influence?
Your private decisions?

The harvest doesn't begin when something finally becomes visible. It begins with what is being planted today.

Sow into God's Word.
Sow prayer into your family.
Sow kindness into your relationships.
Sow truth into your children.
Sow obedience into the places no one else sees.

In due season, there will be a harvest.

One of God's sweetest gifts is that we were never meant to walk the Christian life alone.

The church is made up of different people, different generations, different stories, different gifts, and yet we are one body in Christ.

We worship together.
We pray for one another.
We carry burdens.
We celebrate victories.
We encourage each other to keep going.

The church isn't simply a building we enter on Sunday. It is a body of believers we have been called to be part of. 🤍

Faithfulness doesn't always look impressive.

Sometimes it looks like opening your Bible when no one is watching.
Praying when you don't feel like praying.
Choosing kindness when irritation would be easier.
Showing up for your family.
Serving without recognition.
Obeying God in something seemingly small.

We often look for the big moments, but a faithful Christian life is built through thousands of ordinary decisions to keep following Jesus.

Don't underestimate what God can do through simple, daily obedience.

Yesterday was Pastor Appreciation Sunday, and we are so thankful for the men God has placed at Terrell Baptist Church. 🤍

Pastor Chad and Pastor Ryan, thank you for your commitment to God's Word, your love for this church family, and your willingness to serve where God has called you. We appreciate you, not only during Pastor Appreciation Month, but throughout the year.
