We cleaned the classes for Skillz Camp. We also wanted to go over areas that haven’t been touched in a while. When I reached this banister in one of the stairways, I was struck with how these smudges have accumulated. I am not begrudging them but thankful we have students (who may need to wash their hands a bit more😆) coming regularly to learn about God.

Please be in prayer for the 43 campers coming to our church this week to learn about skills from topics they are interested in and also skills in the Christian walk. Please be in prayer for the teachers and helpers against spiritual attacks as they follow God’s call to show who God is and how He has loved us all.

We added some color changing hex lights! We are striving to have a multi-sensory calming space for our students. We are off to a good start and more is on the way!

As we are gearing up for SkIllz Camp next week. We are wanting to make sure we have beverage coolers for our sports camps. We have one orange one already. A lot of people see God as angry, controlling, or waiting to punish them.

Some of the hardest seasons in life aren’t caused by what’s happening around us… but by the patterns we keep returning to.

We pray for peace while holding onto the very sin destroying it. We ask God to change our lives while resisting the change He’s calling us to make.

God disciplines His children because He loves them. Sin always has a cost. Moral math adds up every single time. What we sow, we eventually reap… spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and sometimes even physically.

But the good news is this: Jesus still saves, restores, forgives, and transforms lives. There is freedom in repentance and hope in Christ. 🙏
