Friendship, in addition to the items from Friendship Crafters, I'm mailing 238 Thank You For Your Service notes tomorrow! That brings to total TYFYS notes to 691 since February of this year! I can hardly keep up with making the cards for you to use - that's a good thing! Thank you for supporting our military personnel!

For 8 years, Friendship UMC has supported the students and faculty of Sherman ISD with whatever the greatest need was in any given year - from underwear and socks, water bottles, general school supplies, etc.
The focus for this year was supplies for the students and teachers in the middle school art classes. Four tubs of items specifically requested by the teachers were delivered yesterday to the Sherman ISD main office!

Friendship friends, we received this email yesterday from one of the visual arts teachers in the Sherman Middle Schools:
Hello,
My name is William Raschendorfer. Mrs. Ginny Thornton and I are the visual art teachers for the 6th,7th, and 8th grade students at Piner Middle School in Sherman. We want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank your church for adopting our school and purchasing art supplies for the Visual Arts department. With so many students interested in visual arts and our supplies being consumables, it is often difficult to have enough to last the year. We truly appreciate your thoughtful donation and guarantee that the supplies will be put to good use by every one of our fine arts students this year.
