Celebrate Recovery is MORE than drugs & alcohol. ❤️‍🩹

One of the biggest misconceptions about Celebrate Recovery is that you have to struggle with drugs or alcohol to belong here.

You don't.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, safe place where we can face life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits from A to Z, with Jesus Christ leading the way.

Maybe your struggle is anger.
Maybe it's anxiety.
Maybe it's codependency or control.
Maybe it's grief, fear, forgiveness, food issues, gambling, people-pleasing, po*******hy, relationship struggles, resentment, or something you've never told anyone about.

You don't have to wait until your life is falling apart to ask for help.

We ALL have something.

And at Celebrate Recovery, you don't have to pretend that everything is okay. You can find a Forever Family that will walk alongside you as you pursue healing, freedom, and a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Did you know that escapism can be a hang-up?

Sometimes we run from reality instead of facing it.

We bury ourselves in work, social media, TV, gaming, shopping, or anything that helps us avoid dealing with what’s really going on inside.

Recovery begins when we stop running from our pain and allow God to meet us in it.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

Hey CR family!! Tomorrow is regular CR at Cornerstone Church. Dinner at 6, large group at 7, gender specific small group at 8.

But this is also a reminder that in TWO Friday’s from now we will be doing CR in the park. That’s Friday August 21st!!! 🙏🏻

What do healthy boundaries sound like?

For many of us, saying “no,” asking for space, or letting go of responsibility that belongs to someone else can feel uncomfortable.

But healthy boundaries are not about being unloving—they help us love others in healthier ways.

They allow us to show compassion without rescuing, support without carrying, and forgive while still making room for wisdom and healing.

What is an Open Share Group at Celebrate Recovery really like?

Maybe you’ve wondered:
“Do I have to share?”
“Will people judge me?”
“Do I have to tell my whole story?”

The answer is simple: come as you are.

An Open Share Group is a safe and supportive place to be real, find encouragement, and connect with people who understand that life can be hard sometimes.

You are never pressured to share before you’re ready. Sharing and listening are both important parts of the healing journey. There is often healing in hearing someone else’s story and realizing, “I’m not alone. Someone else understands.”

What’s shared in the group stays in the group. We’re not there to judge, fix, or give advice—we’re there to support one another with grace, honesty, and hope.

Whether you’re taking your first step toward healing or continuing your journey, you have a place here.

You don’t have to walk through it alone. ❤️

Friday night is Celebrate Recovery at Cornerstone Church in Sheridan Wyoming.
If you need fellowship and a bite to eat be here at 6pm. When we are done here we will go to the sanctuary and worship the Lord and have a teaching on one of the 12 steps at 7pm.
Then at 8pm we will go to small group. This is a safe place to tell your story and find accountability partners and sponsors.

Hello everyone tomorrow night is Friday night and chip night. So bring a friend and let’s celebrate your milestone. It doesn’t matter if you are starting over, just starting, or if you have months or years of recovery. So bring a friend over to 4351 Bighorn Ave Friday night at 6 for dinner and fellowship. 7 pm for worship and celebration. 8 pm for small group.

It’s the first Friday of the month and everyone know what this means. It is chip night. This is the time to Celebrate your recovery with others. We have a chip for everyone if you are just starting or if you have years of recovery. Bring a friend and share long you have been Sober. 6 pm is dinner and fellowship. 7pm is party time. And 8 is small group where you will find a safe place to share and be supported. So come on out to Cornerstone Church 4351 Bighorn Ave.

Celebrate Recovery is meeting this Friday at 4351 Bighorn Ave.
We will start off with a meal and fellowship at 6pm. Then at 7pm we will move to the sanctuary and have worship and a teaching or testimony. At 8 pm we break up into small groups to talk and get support from one another in a safe environment.
So if you know someone that needs support due to a hurt, hang up, or addiction bring them out to Cornerstone Church. Hope to see you there.
