The group from Texas that puts it on has had an illness and also got hit by the hurricane so they can’t come up this year 🥲
Please keep them in your prayers and we will regroup and look forward to next year

Here is some info for the camp:

The camp is sponsored by The Cowboy Church of Leon County Texas and is free to kids wanting to hone their rodeo skills and learn about Jesus

Location : AgriPark Barn
1 LeDeux Way
Sheridan, Wy 82801

Dates: July 22, 23 & 24 (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)

Events: Barrels, Goats, Breakaway & Team Roping

Camping: dry camp only (no electric, no water, no sewer) no charge

Horses : horses can ONLY be kept overnite in pens behind the barn ( no charge)

Lunch is provided every day by Prairie Dog Community Church

Well friends, the 2023 Cowboy Up Rodeo Bible camp is officially in the books . I’m pretty sure a good time was had by all and the kiddos learned a bunch despite the brutal heat .

Want to give a great big shout out to the following instructors who were so patient, helpful and kind to the kids : Preston Anise (TR), Brooke Worman (goats), Megan Wells (breakaway)and Val Woods (barrels) Thank you thank you for your time and patience and knowledge! God bless you all!

A huge thank you to Chuck & Tracey Pollard for donating their beautiful facility (Nirvana Equine) and welcoming this event with open arms. God bless you two beautiful people.

Would also like to thank the Cowboy Church of Leon, Texas for making the trip and supporting such a wonderful camp. Never would’ve happened without you folks!

Thank you as well to the Prairie Dog Community Church for providing the food and the folks that provided stock, Ike Sankey, Gary and Sara Mefford and Jodi Edwards (Davidsons)
