What a day! Didn’t go like I would have expected. I rolled out with and had problems from the first time we stopped. The starter is wanting to heat soak. So when the motor gets hot it cranks extremely slow or not at all. Had to jump it about 4 times. But that didn’t kill the day. The traffic in the small towns was bad. Getting into the venue took an hour. Dealt with worse before but still wasn’t ideal. We got there late and then came the rain. Although it was a somewhat aggravating day, spending time with my family on Route 66 was awesome. I didn’t get a picture but we topped it off with frying hamburgers on his camp stove in the parking lot of the hotel. Thanks Eddie for dinner! Can’t wait for Day 3! (My sister-in-law too some great pics of our cars. I didn’t get them. So, I’ll post them tomorrow)
