Cedar Grove Baptist Church

Next Thursday, June 25th at 7 p.m., we will be hosting a service here at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. The service will take place on a Thursday evening to allow other believers in the community outside of CGBC the opportunity to attend if they are interested and available. We also welcome those who may be unable to attend church on Sunday mornings. The service will include hymn singing, sung and recited psalms, Scripture reading, prayer, recitation of the Nicene Creed, prayer of confession, and other elements of worship.

Please feel free to share this flyer with others, and don't hesitate to comment if you have any questions. We will begin hosting evening prayer on Thursdays once a quarter.

In honor of VBS this past week, the children learned:

🐑💚 Psalm 23 reminds us that we are never alone.

The Lord is our Shepherd—He provides, guides, protects, and restores. When life feels uncertain, He leads us beside still waters. When we walk through dark valleys, He is with us. When we are weary, He renews our souls.

No matter what today holds, take comfort in knowing that God's goodness and mercy are pursuing you. His presence is your peace, His guidance is your strength, and His love is your security.

Trust the Shepherd. Follow His voice. Rest in His care.

🌱✨ God often shows us signs that He is working, even before we see the full blessing.
Just as new leaves on a fig tree signal that summer is near, small steps of faith, answered prayers, and renewed hope remind us that God is faithful and His promises are unfolding in His perfect timing.

Keep trusting. Keep believing. God isn't finished yet. 🌿💚
