Hello Parents,
Summer is almost here and things will pick up with summer camps, Hang Times, youth convention, and more. Take a look at the summer schedule and some of the events below. Please let me know if you have any questions!
SUNDAY SCHOOL
There will be no junior or senior high Sunday School during the summer. We are encouraging our teens to attend the combined adult Sunday School class in Modular E or the Women’s only Sunday School class for the teen girls. Those classes will begin Sunday, June 7th at 9:30 AM. This coming Sunday, May 31st, we have a guest missionary, Langkhangthang and his wife Moi, from India who will be giving an update of their ministry in Modular E. I would encourage all of our teens to attend our missionary’s update.

HANG TIMES (Select Wednesdays Through the Summer)
During select Wednesdays during the summer (Check the schedule above), we’re inviting the teens who have finished the 7th grade through 2026 high school graduates to join us at the FBC pavilion from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM for a relaxed time of games, food, and time in the Word. We will typically be serving hotdogs, chips, and water so if that doesn’t sound appetizing then you should eat before you come 😊. On July 8th, we are having our BASIC young adults group organize the Hang Time. We will have a special guest speaker that evening from Finishline Ministries. The location for that Hang Time is TBD.
TEEN SUMMER BREAK
Teen Summer Break is our teen camp that takes place at the FBC pavilion. It is 5 nights of games, competition, food, worship, and the Word. Your teen won’t want to miss this great event.

Speaker: Pastor Alex Eicorn from Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cumberland, MD
When: July 13-17
Time: 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Each Night)
Cost: FREE Event
Food: We will have a concession stand for reasonable costs. $5 to $7 would be a good estimate if your teen wishes to get a snack.
Who: Teens going into the 7th grade through 2026 high school graduates. (You must be going into 7th grade AND turn 12 years old by Sunday, September 20th)

JUNIOR HIGH BASH (August 11-12)
This is an event for upcoming 7th and 8th graders to help introduce them to the youth group. It is a FREE event. More information will come out during Teen Summer Break.
