Joy Group at Gateway Christian Fellowship PEEPS! Our bake sale is fast approaching and we need bakers! And….if you don’t like to bake, but MAKE other things, we’re totally down for that. Not everyone likes sweets, so other home made edibles are more than appreciated.
We ask that your goods be delivered early and wrapped and ready for sale. We do not set prices on most items, except for Scott’s smoked salmon ($10) and like to remind our shoppers that this is a fundraiser and generosity is key.
We’ve found that individual items, wrapped, ready to go are our best sellers.
We are not yet certain about whether or not we can make the pre-ordered lunches work, and they were a big source of our revenue, so we just need to pick up the revenue by having lots of other products.
I’ll be at church tomorrow after first service in case you want to talk through any of these details, or provide me with your item signups.
As a reminder, the money that we earn will contribute to Foster Kids Christmas, identified day care families, and if we have enough, an anonymous family in the congregation.
On the day of:
8:45am – Deliver your items to the foyer where we will be set up for sale, before first service, between, and after second.
8:45-12:15 – Dean and I will be in the booth selling but would love some other sales peeps to hang with us.
12:30 – clean up, could use some volunteers
Left over items will be either discarded or donated to the daycare (if they can accept them, I don’t know the answer to that at the moment). Please if you’d like to take your items home, collect them by 12:30.
Lastly, if you just are not one to like to bake, cook, or boil, that’s totally ok, would you prayerfully consider a donation?
