Praying for Louisville tonight and in the days to come, as well as UPS and all of the families and employees impacted by this tragedy. Prayers for those injured and recovering in the hospital, and rejoicing in the safety of so many who were in the airports waiting to fly out of Louisville.

Today we celebrate the coming of peace, hope, joy and love…we celebrate the initial coming of Christ. We exchange gifts in symbolism of the gift He was and is to humanity, and we reflect on what it must have been like for the world to shift from hopeless to hopeful.

No matter where you find yourself this season, know there is hope. Know you are loved. Know there is a peace that surpasses everything. Know there is joy to be found. His name is Emmanuel, God with us.
