Heritage Church KY We're an assembly of believers in Jesus Christ meeting together to worship God and to hear the Bible preached and taught as God’s inerrant word to mankind.

We are an assembly of believers in Jesus Christ who meet together to worship God in Spirit and in Truth, and to hear the Bible preached and taught as God’s inerrant Word to mankind, being sufficient for all things as the final authority pertaining to life and doctrine. We believe that God is one God who eternally manifests Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that we are saved by gr

ace through faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross. His blood was shed on our behalf as a substitute sacrifice for our sins. We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent to indwell and fill His people to empower them to live and fulfill the work of the body of Christ, His church in the world. We seek to live lives worthy of His calling, waiting on His imminent, visible, bodily return for His church. We believe, through the support of missions and personal evangelism, that we are to obey Christ’s command to “Preach the Gospel to every creature, teaching them to obey all the words He has commanded.”

Today’s Message with Pastor Paul Hamilton
Exodus 24:13–18 | Hebrews 12:18–24 | 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 | Hebrews 11:13–16 | Revelation 20:11 | Revelation 21:10–23 | Revelation 22:1–5

Today’s message was a powerful reminder to lift our eyes from this world and fix them on eternity.

⛰ God Calls Us Higher

Just as God called Moses up the mountain, He is still calling His people today:

“Then Moses set out… and went up on the mountain of God.”
Exodus 24:13

God calls us away from the noise through prayer and fasting to draw closer to Him.

And when we truly experience His presence, we want nothing more than for our families to experience it too.

“You have come to Mount Zion… to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant.”
Hebrews 12:22–24

🌍 This World Is Not Our Home

We live in a fallen world, but God is still King.

Scripture reminds us there is more than what we see — even speaking of the heavens above, the stars, and the dwelling place of God.

“They were longing for a better country—a heavenly one…”
Hebrews 11:16

We are just passing through.

✝️ Death Is Not the End

“We do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.”
1 Thessalonians 4:13

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 5:8

Death on earth may look like the end to man… but to God, it is just the beginning.

👑 Jesus Is Coming Again

“The Lord Himself will come down from heaven…”
1 Thessalonians 4:16

“And so we will be with the Lord forever.”
1 Thessalonians 4:17

This is our hope.
This is our promise.

⚖️ Eternity Is Real

“Then I saw a great white throne…”Revelation 20:11

One day, every person will stand before God.

🌟 The Glory of Heaven

“The city had the glory of God…”
Revelation 21:11

“The glory of God gives it light…”
Revelation 21:23

“The river of the water of life… flowing from the throne of God…”
Revelation 22:1

“There will be no more night… for the Lord God gives them light.”
Revelation 22:5

No darkness.
No fear.
No sorrow.
Only the overwhelming glory and presence of God.

🏁 Finish the Race

“Let us run with perseverance… fixing our eyes on Jesus.”
Hebrews 12:1–2

Finish your race with your eyes fixed on Heaven.

Turn to the Lord and know Him like you never have before.

🙌 Final Truth

God is calling.
Heaven is real.
Jesus is coming.

Come higher.
Come closer.
Seek Him with all your heart.

📖 Today’s Message with Pastor Paul Hamilton
Exodus 24:13–18 | Hebrews 12:18–24 | Psalm 91:14–16

Today Pastor Paul spoke about God calling His people higher, just as He called Moses up the mountain to meet Him.

“Then Moses set out… and went up on the mountain of God.”
— Exodus 24:13

God often calls us away from the noise of life through prayer and fasting so we can draw closer to Him. When we truly experience the presence of God, our greatest desire becomes seeing our families experience Him as well.

Through Christ, we are invited into the presence of God.

“You have come to Mount Zion… to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant.”
— Hebrews 12:22–24

The Lord promises His presence and deliverance to those who seek Him.

“Because he loves Me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My name. He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble… With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
— Psalm 91:14–16

Turn to the Lord and know Him like you never have before.

God is still calling His people today:

Come higher.
Come closer.
Seek the Lord with all your heart.

📖 Today’s Message with Pastor Hunter Norwick
Colossians 3:12–18 | Hebrews 3:13

Today’s message reminded us what a life that truly belongs to Christ should look like.

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
Colossians 3:12

🍇 We Bear Fruit to the Glory of God

When Christ is truly at work in our hearts, our lives begin to produce fruit — compassion, kindness, humility, patience, forgiveness, and love.

These are not just good habits.
They are evidence of a heart that has been changed by Jesus.

“And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
Colossians 3:14

🏠 Our First Ministry Is Our Family

Pastor Hunter reminded us that our faith must first show up in our homes.
We have a duty to minister to our families to love them, forgive them, guide them, and lead them closer to Christ.

❤️ Encourage One Another Daily

Scripture also calls us to strengthen one another in faith.

“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.”
Hebrews 3:13

When believers love and encourage one another the way Christ does, it protects our hearts and keeps us walking in truth.

As Scripture teaches us elsewhere:

Love covers a multitude of sins.

🙏 Stay Close to the Lord

In order to serve well…in our homes, our church, and our community…we must stay close to Jesus.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…”
Colossians 3:16

When His Word fills our hearts, it shapes our lives.

✝️ Everything We Do Points to Him

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.”
Colossians 3:17

May our lives bear fruit that glorifies God, strengthen one another in love, and reflect Christ in our homes and communities.

🔥 Today’s Message: Authority in the Name of Jesus 🔥
with Pastor Paul Hamilton
📖 Luke 10:17–20 | Ephesians 1:19–23

Pastor Paul is calling the Church to rise up…united, bold, and grounded in truth.

He has been meeting with other pastors in our community, and many have admitted something sobering:
There are many people who have sat in church their entire lives… yet have never experienced the true heart change that comes with being born again.

Knowing about Jesus is not the same as knowing Him.
Attendance is not the same as transformation.

In Luke 10:17–20, the seventy disciples returned with joy, saying:

“Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” (Luke 10:17)

Jesus responded:

“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” (Luke 10:18)

“Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

Then He makes this powerful statement:

“Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:20)

Darkness has power.
But it has no authority.

Authority belongs to Jesus.

And Jesus gives authority to those who belong to Him.

Ephesians 1:19–23 reminds us of who Christ is:

“…the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe… which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion…”

“And He put all things under His feet…”
Everything is under His feet.

So the real question is not whether Jesus has authority,
The question is: are we walking in relationship with Him?

Are we truly saved?
Are we equipped to lead someone else to Christ?
Are we representing the true Jesus…full of grace, truth, and power?

This is the hour for churches to unite.
To go into the community.
To preach the Gospel boldly.
To use the Name above every name.

The Name of Jesus.

⚔️ Today’s Message: Test the Spirit, Stand for the True Jesus
📖 Ephesians 6:12 | Luke 19:37–41

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Ephesians 6:12

We are in a spiritual battle. Not every voice is from God. Not every spirit represents Jesus.

Scripture teaches us clearly:
Any spirit that does not proclaim the true Jesus is not from God.

So we must ask ourselves:
Do I have the right spirit?
Am I representing the true Jesus…in my heart, my words, and my life?

The true Jesus is not a message of pride or division — He is a message of grace, truth, and a deep desire to see people saved, restored, and lifted up.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, Heaven itself acknowledged Him:

“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
Luke 19:38

And when some tried to silence the praise, Jesus said:

“I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”
Luke 19:40

Then comes one of the most powerful and revealing moments in all of Scripture:

“Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it.”
Luke 19:41

The King of Kings did not come with pride…He came with compassion. He wept for people who did not recognize Him.

This is how we test the spirit.
The true Jesus is full of truth, but also full of love.
Full of authority, but also full of mercy.

Heaven recognizes Him. The stones recognize Him.

The question is: Do we?

Are we living in a way that reflects Him?
Are we carrying His Spirit faithfully in a world full of competing voices?

🌿 Today’s Message: Abide in Him, and Receive His Joy
with Pastor Hunter
📖 John 15:7–11 | Galatians 5:22

Jesus made a powerful promise:

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”
John 15:7

But this promise comes with a condition, we must abide in Him.

Abiding means staying connected. Staying obedient. Staying surrendered.

Jesus said:

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
John 15:11

True joy doesn’t come from circumstances.
True joy comes from Christ living in you.

Joy is not something you chase.
Joy is the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

When you walk in His commandments…
When you live in His love…
When His Word lives inside you…

Joy follows.

So today, let this be your prayer:
“Lord, give me joy. Not the world’s joy, but Your joy.”

“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love.”
John 15:10

This is the mark of a true disciple.

🔥 Today’s Message: Prayer, Fasting, and the Call to Follow
with Pastor Paul Hamilton
📖 Isaiah 58 | Mark 1:14–17

The time is now.

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
Mark 1:15

God is calling. Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart.

In Isaiah 58, we’re reminded that prayer and fasting are not empty rituals, they are meant to break chains, loose burdens, and lead to action. God is not interested in religious motions. He’s looking for hearts that are soft, surrendered, and ready to serve.

A Call to True Discipleship
Jesus said:

“Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Mark 1:17

This is not just a suggestion, it’s a commission.
But if we are not led by the Spirit, we will never be effective witnesses.

Fasting tunes our hearts to His voice.
Prayer prepares us for the mission.
And obedience opens the door to fruitfulness.

God is searching… not for the qualified, but for the willing.

So ask yourself today:
🛐 Am I going through the motions… or going after His mission?
🔥 Am I led by emotions… or led by the Spirit?

Now is the time. The kingdom is at hand.

🔥 Today’s Message: Heaven’s View Called to Carry the Gospel
with Pastor Paul Hamilton
📖 Mark 1:14–18

Jesus didn’t just come to save you… He came to send you.

“Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”
— Mark 1:17

From the very beginning of His ministry, Jesus preached:
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
And then He called His followers to join Him, to carry the message of life.

We Are the Carriers
The gospel message is God’s, but He has chosen to deliver it through us. That means we don’t go out in our own strength, our own intellect, or our own understanding. We go out in faith, with God’s Word, and with God’s heart.

Many of us have tried to share our faith and felt like we failed.
But Pastor Paul reminded us today:

“You don’t need your understanding. You need God’s.”

A Biblical View of Evangelism
• We start in prayer.
• We move by the Holy Spirit.
• We carry the gospel daily, not just in word, but in how we live.
• We walk in the unity of the brethren.
• We keep doing what Jesus started.

You are not alone. You are not ineffective.
Heaven sees you, and Heaven will help you.
God will make you successful in winning souls not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit.

🙏 Today’s Message: A Day of Humbling — Fasting Before the Lord
📖 Leviticus 16:29–31

“This shall be a permanent statute for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble yourselves and not do any work… It is to be a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, that you may humble yourselves.”
Leviticus 16:29,31

Today’s sermon reminds us: fasting isn’t about skipping meals, it’s about humbling our hearts before God.

In the Old Testament, fasting was tied to repentance, reverence, and dependence on God’s mercy. It wasn’t optional. It was commanded, because our flesh needs to be quieted so our spirit can listen.

We fast to:
• Humble ourselves
• Focus on the holiness of God
• Break strongholds
• Prepare our hearts for breakthrough

In a world full of indulgence, God still honors the humble. And fasting is how we lay down our comfort to say:
“God, You’re all I need.”

🔥 Keep the Fire Burning — The Right Way
This week at Heritage Church, we’re in Leviticus 6 and 10, where God makes something very clear:

“The fire must be kept burning on the altar continually; it must not go out.”
— Leviticus 6:13

God commanded the altar to stay hot — not with man-made fire, not with strange practices — but with the fire HE started.

In Leviticus 10, Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu offered unauthorized fire to the Lord — fire He didn’t command. And they were consumed by God’s fire because they approached Him on their own terms, not His.

Reverence matters. Obedience matters. God’s way matters.

It’s not enough to bring a sacrifice.
It must be the right sacrifice.
It’s not enough to show up to church.
We must come with hearts that honor His Word and His ways.

The Fire Still Burns
We don’t offer animals anymore. But we are the sacrifice now — living, holy, acceptable (Romans 12:1).
And we still need the fire to burn in our lives — not a fire of emotion or man-made religion, but the holy fire of God.

Let’s worship Him the way He commands — with awe, obedience, and holy fire.

☀️💡 Today’s Message: “You Are the Light of the World”
with Pastor Paul Hamilton
📖 Matthew 5:13–16 | Acts 26:15–18 | John 1:3–5

Last week we talked about being the salt of the earth.
Today, we step into what it means to be the light of the world.

“You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others.”
— Matthew 5:14–16

We live in a dark world. But God has called you to carry His light — to be both a receiver of His light and a giver of it.

From Genesis to Revelation, God uses light as a symbol of His presence, His truth, and His purpose.

The Story of Saul (Acts 26:15–18):
Saul once hunted down believers — he was a destroyer of light.
Until one day, a light from heaven knocked him to the ground. (Pictured)

“Who are you, Lord?”
“Rise and stand on your feet. I have called you for a purpose.”

God changed Saul into Paul. And it all started with the Light.

“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
— John 1:4

The greatest contrast in all creation is light and darkness.
We were born with a fear of the dark… because death is darkness.
But in heaven, there is no darkness at all. Only light.

So let your light shine — not for attention, but for God’s glory.
