Please continue to pray for the Minch Family. Mary was a great woman of the faith. She is already greatly missed, yet we rejoice that she is with her Risen Savior.
MARY'S OBITUARY *from Hall and Taylor Funeral Home Shelbyville, KY
Mary Roberts Minch, 83, of Shelbyville, died on Thursday, the 24th day of June, 2021, at the University of Louisville Shelbyville Hospital. Born in Henry County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Lena Faye Newby Roberts, and the widow of David E. Minch. A former member of the Highland Baptist Church, she was an active member of the Emmanuel Baptist church where she taught Sunday School and served as pianist. She was also a voracious reader and her memberships included the Woman’s Missionary Union. A former employee of state government, she was a retired administrative assistant in the Kentucky Department of Insurance. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Roberts, and her sisters, Doris Dawson and Annabelle Beverly.
Her survivors include her son, Norman Minch, and his wife, Beth, of Stamping Ground; her daughter, Marilyn White and her husband, David, of Graefenburg; her brother, Harry Lee Roberts of Louisville; her sister, Billie Williams of Fort Worth, Texas; and her grandchildren, Shelby White Jordan and her husband, Brent, Rachel White Van D**e and her husband, Jacob, and Trenton Minch, and his wife, Cameron.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, the 28th day of June, 2021, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville, with the Reverend Dan Poe and the Reverend Amaury Dietz officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., Sunday, 27 June 2021, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2388 Burks Branch Road, Shelbyville, Kentucky 40065.
