Shelbyville (Illinois) First Church of the Nazarene was founded on August 5, 1928, and met in the rented, white-framed African Methodist Episcopal Church on the corner of North Third and Will streets. Officially, the church was organized with 36 charter members in 1929.

We had a great service this morning as Sam Evans shared with us his music and testimony. We also received communion together. The fellowship at the potluck was phenomenal as well. Here is a video of Sam’s last song (One More) and some photos are in the comments.
