With your safety in mind, our church leadership has decided that there will be no in-person activities this Sunday, February 1. Snow accumulation predictions are still suggesting a high probability of 2 to 5 inches (or more) in our area. We will still be streaming the service via YouTube and Facebook at our usual time, 9:30 AM on Sunday.

In addition to watching the service digitally, families can enjoy this family discipleship activity from Pastor Abigail. Take pictures of your finished projects to be featured in next week's newsletter!

Our FBC Children & Youth Paint, Praise, & Pancakes night has been rescheduled for February 8th at 5:30 PM. Listen to upbeat praise music while we paint rocks to sprinkle kindness around Shelby! This event is for children and youth of all ages and their families. We'll be having pancakes for dinner--come "Rock out" with us!

There is a terrific opportunity tonight. Bring your kiddos for Mission Studies and Chior…. Then stay for the class taught by our very own Dr. Robert Canoy. Sharpen your bible study methods for the new year.

Check kids in on the kids hall and then join us in the gym at 6. Will be over in time to pick up kids.

Do you know how creative our Mission Studies Leaders are for our children?
Here is a glimpse of our crazy 6-7 Missions Night! We studied chapter 6, verse 7 Bible verses, drew 6 or 7 missionaries sharing God’s Love and parties with 7 Up and 6-7 cookies! It was a 6-7 Blast!

Are you a long time member of FBC? Then you probably have a painted rock or maybe may rocks from memory verse(s). Our very dedicated Susan Evans has brought back the tradition. This Sunday we had a few rocks passed out.

Everyone in the class memorized this week's verse Matthew 1:21 "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

They each chose a painted rock and received a star on the chart. That makes them RockStars!

We are starting back. Come have dinner with us then take kids upstairs for their activities. Fun, food and fellowship is the best combination.

Can you tell your story and see all the times God has been at work. 2026 is off to a great start as Queen Abigail teaches us about Queen Ester. God knew and paved the way for her story. He is doing it for you also.
