Hope Students Our desire is for all students to know the hope of Jesus, grow in biblical community, and go & be the church!

Radi8 Student Ministries is the youth ministry for middle school and high school students of Hope Community Church in Shelby, NC and we exist to: "Spread the Light and Hope of Jesus Christ to the world that He Loves"

Radiate: “Diverge or spread from a central point”
-When the word “radiate” is used, it is more often referring to light.
-We believe that Jesus is the central point or source of lig

ht in this life

--“Then Jesus spoke to them saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’”- John 8:12

Once we come to, and accept Jesus as the source of life, we then have a duty to radiate His light to the world that God loves and Jesus gave Himself for (John 3:16).

“You are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.”- Matthew 5:14a, 16

Christ gives us a completely new identity in Him when we believe and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. At Radi8 Student Ministries we aim to walk in our true identity and we agree with God’s Word that states:

There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (V.1), that the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives inside of us (V.11), and we are adopted as children of God (V.14-17). We believe that God works ALL things for our good and His Glory(V.28), that we are more than conquerers through Him who loves us (V.37) and there is absolutely nothing in, or out, of this world that can separate us from the Love of God (V.38-39)
