“The Potter’s Wheel”-Trusting the Potter’s Vision
Vision is a motivating awareness

“So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over.” Jeremiah‬ ‭18‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The potter never wastes the clay. Even when the vessel is broken, the clay remains useful. That means your mistakes, setbacks, and detours have not disqualified you. Sometimes there are times hearing that above statement is exactly what we needed to hear.
God’s vision for you is bigger than your current condition. He knows what He is making, even when you don’t understand the process.
Trust the Potter. His hands are skilled, His intentions are good, and His timing is perfect.

Question :
Can you trust God’s plan, even when it looks different than yours? SELAH 🤔

“The Potter’s Wheel” “Yielding to the Process”

“So he crushed it into a lump of clay again…” Jeremiah 18:4

The crushing part of change is the hardest. God breaks old habits, mindsets, and attachments, then He begins to build something new.

In order to be shaped again we must surrender to His will. We must agree to what it takes to produce change, even when it feels uncomfortable. The crushing is not punishment—it is preparation.

Question:
What is God asking you to release/let go of?

“The Potter’s Wheel”-
“Recognizing the Need for Change”

“But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped…” — Jeremiah 18:4

The first step toward change is honesty. The clay in the potter’s hand was not forming the way it was intended. Change begins when we stop pretending everything is fine and acknowledge where we need God’s hand. Recognition is not failure; it is wisdom. God cannot reshape what we refuse to place before Him.
Question:
What areas of your life need some reshaping ?

Below you will find the intro to this week’ s devotional.

The Potter’s Wheel = Change
Pottery is the art or craft of the potter(us)
The potter is the one that makes the pottery (God)
This week’s scripture:
“The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭18‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jeremiah 18 shows that change is not random—it is intentional, and shaped by the hands of God.

When you are placed back on the potter’s wheel, there are two things that you must :
1)The beginning of change is recognizing that a change is needed
2)Then agreeing to what it takes to produce that change

God is such a loving father, that instead of tossing us to the side, He picks us up and places us on the wheel, smoothes out the imperfections, and then sends us back out to try another day.
We are not disposable plates that get thrown away after they have been used. We are stoneware that is washed, dried, and used again and again.
Thank God for the potter and His amazing wheel.

Manna Devotion and Prayer
God is my one constant
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.” Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭1‬ ‭GW‬‬
Constant- something or someonethat is reliably present

God is the only one in my life, that is reliable, why because no matter what has happened in my life, He is always there.

My Prayer
Father God, I bless you and I give you glory. You are the first and last in my life. You are the reason that I live , move, and have my being. Forgive me for every sin the I have committed, the ones I know of any for the ones that I don’t of.
Thank You for being my refuge and my strength, my ever-present help in every time of trouble. Thank you for being there for me, no matter what I face in life. You are always near.
Thank you for being my one constant. You have proven time and time again that I can depend on You.
When I am weary, you are my strength. When I feel alone, Your presence is with me. Help me to trust You completely, even when I do not understand what your plan is for me. You are reliable, unchanging, and I thank you for that. Thank You for being the steady foundation beneath me and the covering over me.
Thank you Lord for being my strength, and my one constant.
In Jesus’ name, Amen, Amen, and Thank God.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV

Some things are only meant for a certain time, and when that season ends, it is often because God is shifting us into our next. Seasons are not designed to be weights. They are designed to be a lesson. Learn from it and move on. Don’t cause your life to be on hold or worse stopped, because you couldn’t or wouldn’t let go.

God’s timing is intentional. If He removes something, it’s because He is making room for what’s next. Trusting Him means being willing to let go, even when we don’t fully understand.

What Are You Allowing to Remain in Your life, when it was only meant to be temporary?!

“I know, Lord, that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course.”Jeremiah‬ ‭10‬:‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In our lives there are people and things that were only meant to serve for a temporary purpose. Some things were assignments, not permanent attachments. Because of comfort, fear, or familiarity, we hold on to what God intended for us to release.

Jeremiah 10:23 reminds us that our lives are not our own and that we are not qualified to map out our destiny apart from God. That means every season has to be surrendered to Him. What He allows us to do or be in one chapter, may not be fit for the next chapter.

Ask yourself this question? Did God tell me to keep carrying this load, or am I holding it because it’s familiar and safe for me? Then ask God to help you to abide by His plan and instructions for this season of your life.

“Comparison Part 2” Tue., 6/16/2026

Declaration #2
I don’t have to control everything. I only need to remain faithful in the lane God assigned to me, because He is already handling the road ahead.

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

““You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.””
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Covet-to desire (what belongs to another)

In order for you to covet who or what someone else has , you must be comparing what they have to what you have. Instead of showing gratitude to God for what He has given to you, you waste time comparing and wanting what someone else has, when God is preparing to give you better than what they have.

So often we get distracted by what others are doing, where they are going, and how fast they seem to be moving. When we dedicate our ways to the Lord, we leave no room for comparison.

“There is No Comparison, When You Stay in Your Lane”
To Compare-to examine the characteror qualities of especially in order to discoverresemblances or differences
Today’s declaration is:
I will stay in my lane, because God is handling the highway!

Our responsibility is obedience. His responsibility is navigation.
(We are to believe and obey God, while has gone before us in order to take care of that issue that continues to plague me daily)

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When we stay in our lane, we can move with peace, confidence, and clarity, knowing that God has already gone before us.
But God never called us to compare our journey to someone else’s. He gave each of us a lane—a purpose, an assignment, and a pace designed specifically for us. When we step outside of that, we create unnecessary frustration, confusion, and delays.

Staying in your lane means trusting God with your direction and timing. It means focusing on what He has placed in your hands and not being consumed with what is happening around you. The highway represents the bigger picture—the things ahead, the unseen dangers, the detours, and the final destination. Those things belong to God.

“Your Divine Connection “
Divine: relating to, or proceeding directly from God
Connection: a set of persons or things associated together

“May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It is vital for the next move of God in our lives that we remain connected to like-minded people. We may not all attend the same church, but we must all carry the mind of Jesus. That means believing alike, speaking alike, walking alike, and living in a way that reflects Him.
We are all following the same Savior, allowing Him to fill us daily with His Word and guide our steps. In this season, it is necessary to lay down everything that is not like Him and anything that does not align with His plan for our lives.
Be intentional about your walk with God. Stay close to Him, stay grounded in His Word, and stay connected to those who sharpen your faith.
Intentionally walk with God!
