First Presbyterian Church We are committed to being a church where Christ is the center of everything we do--our worship, our fellowship, our conversations, our hearts, our homes.

In light of the gospel of Jesus Christ, all are welcome here! We are a small town Iowa church. Comprised of farmers and their families that go back 6+ generations, the Presbyterian Church of Shelby has been around for the last 100 years. Within this church, we have a Sunday School that caters to kids the ages from 3 years old to that of a high school senior. There are 3 teachers and 2 helpers that

teach the classes. The Sunday School classes are a combination of all of the churches around the area/town. The kids have a lot of events that they are able to participate in throughout the year. One of these examples are our annual lock-in the Friday before the churches sharing feast. The teachers and class helpers as well as willing parents can spend the night helping the kids make crafts to decorate the church with, and food to share with family and friends.
