Please be in prayer for a member who has been admitted to the hospital with a very bad case of bronchitis and requires further monitoring and treatment. Be in prayer for his family and medical team as well. ❤️
I don’t want to be a nag, but y’all know once a nurse, always a nurse right? It is the time of year when respiratory illnesses are running rampant and hospitals are full because of it. Think I’m kidding? This precious member was sent to Kings Mountain because Shelby did not have room. No visitors under age 13. Masking encouraged. So…here’s what you can do! I used to tell the kids this and it’s still one of my favorite little quotes. “Wash your hands and say your prayers cause Jesus and germs are everywhere”! Seriously though, wash your hands. Avoid crowds for a little while. If you’re able to stay home when you’re sick, please do. Those of you like me with weak immune systems, it’s time to pull the masks out. We tell Aly she needs to eat something with “nutrients”- especially those with lots of vitamin C! And I’m not kidding about those prayers y’all. Pray for the ones who ARE sick, those who are caring for sick loved ones, those getting over being sick cause you know it takes awhile to get over some of these bugs, those trying their best not to get sick for whatever reason, and y’all pray for the healthcare community during this time too.
With all that being said, please feel comfortable coming to church. We clean between services, we have disinfectant spray, we are able to spread out, we can open windows if you’re concerned and trust me there is absolutely no judgement if you want to slide a mask on and we may even still have a box somewhere, just don’t hold me to that last part. (We’ve moved a lot of things around since Helene so I don’t know where those got put, but I’m willing to look). We really hope you can make it out in the morning at ten! If not, please lift the member up. I’ll not be posting the name or details out of respect for the family’s privacy.
