"From Lost to Lifted: Miracles in the Mundane":

2 Kings 6:1-7
And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye. And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go. So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood. But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed. And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it."

I. The Problem - The ax head was lost, creating a difficult situation for the worker.
Psalm 34:6 - "This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles."
Psalm 50:15 - "And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me."
John 16:33 - "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

II. The Plea - The student urgently asked Elisha for help, acknowledging the ax head was borrowed.
Psalm 18:6 - "In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears."
Jeremiah 33:3 - "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
Matthew 7:7 - "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."

III. The Power - Through Elisha’s faith and God’s power, the iron miraculously floated.
Jeremiah 32:17 - "Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee."
Mark 10:27 - "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."
Ephesians 3:20 - "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

IV. The Provision - God’s intervention provided a solution, restoring what was lost.
Philippians 4:19 - "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Joel 2:25 - "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you."
Psalm 23:1 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."

1. "Even when we lose what seems impossible to recover, God can make the iron float."
2. "What sinks in despair can be lifted by faith, for God’s power knows no depth."
3. "In the hands of God, even the heaviest burdens are as light as a feather."
4. "When life’s tools slip away, remember the One who can make the iron swim."
5. "God doesn’t just watch your struggles; He intervenes, even if it’s to raise an ax head from the water."
6. "Where human effort fails, divine intervention can make the impossible rise."
7. "What falls beneath the surface of our reach is still within the grasp of God's miracles."
8. "The God who made the iron float can restore what you thought was irretrievably lost."
9. "With a simple word, God can make the heaviest iron lift and the darkest waters clear."
10. "Miracles happen not when we push harder but when we trust the One who can lift what is sunken."
11. "Faith calls us to believe that, even when things seem lost, God can make them rise again."
12. "In every deep, dark water where hope seems lost, God's power can still bring light."
13. "When the ax head sank, it wasn’t the end; it was an opportunity for God to show His might."
14. "God’s grace can lift even what has been submerged in the waters of despair."
15. "The God who cares for borrowed tools cares infinitely more for your soul."
16. "If God can lift an iron ax head from the river, He can surely lift you from your troubles."
17. "Even in the simplest needs, God is present, making the impossible possible."
18. "Where others see loss, God sees an opportunity for a miracle."
19. "God's hand is strong enough to make iron swim and gentle enough to lift the fallen."
20. "Faith is seeing an ax head sink and still believing it will rise by God's power."
21. "No matter how deep the water, God’s arm can reach further."
22. "What falls into darkness can be brought back to light by the Creator’s command."
23. "God’s provision is not limited by the weight of the problem; even iron can defy gravity when He wills it."
24. "The miracle wasn’t just the iron floating; it was God’s care for the small details of our lives."
25. "When your tools are gone, remember the God who can make iron rise above the waves."

Available Now!

Here is a sneak peek to my new 31 Day Christmas Devotional:
"O Come, Let Us Adore Him: A Christmas Devotional.

"O Come, Let Us Adore Him: A Christmas Devotional" is a heartfelt invitation to step into a deeper understanding of Christmas, focusing on the profound love, hope, and joy that Jesus' birth brings. It extends beyond the typical holiday festivities, calling readers to reflect on the true essence of Christmas—adoring the Christ child, whose birth changed everything. The devotional offers a rich and spiritual journey through the Advent season, encouraging daily reflections that draw readers closer to the heart of God.

The title, "O Come, Let Us Adore Him," is not just a phrase but a call to worship, a gentle beckoning for every soul to find its place at the manger. This devotional encourages a heartfelt response to the gift of Jesus, inviting readers to experience the Christmas story not as a distant event but as a living, ongoing revelation of God's love. It serves as a reminder that Christmas is not merely about observing traditions but about opening our hearts to the transformative power of God's presence through His Son, Jesus.

Adoration is at the heart of this devotional, inviting readers to approach the manger with reverence, awe, and love. It's about more than just acknowledging Jesus' birth; it's about truly adoring Him, recognizing Him as Emmanuel, "God with us." This book gently leads its readers to slow down amidst the holiday rush, to quiet their hearts, and to prepare for a meaningful encounter with the Savior. It encourages a deep reflection on why we celebrate Christmas and what it means for our lives today.

The message of the devotional is clear: Jesus is the ultimate gift of love, sent to redeem, heal, and restore. The birth of Jesus is the beginning of a story of salvation, where God's love reaches into our lives, calling us to return to Him. Through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, the promise of redemption is offered to all who believe. This Christmas devotional encourages readers to reflect on this love, to be renewed by it, and to allow it to shape their lives in profound ways.

Every page invites readers to respond to God's love with adoration, gratitude, and trust. It challenges them to see beyond their circumstances, to embrace the grace offered through Jesus, and to live in the freedom of His love. By the end of the devotional, readers are not only reminded of the reason for the season but are also equipped to carry the joy, hope, and peace of Christmas throughout the year.

In conclusion, "O Come, Let Us Adore Him" is an invitation to step away from the noise, to reflect on the miracle of Jesus' birth, and to find peace in His presence. It is an opportunity to experience Christmas in its truest form—worshiping the King who came to save. Through these daily reflections, may readers find their hearts filled with the light of Christ, their spirits lifted by His love, and their lives transformed by the hope of His eternal promise.

🥣 Shepherd's Pie Soup 🥔
This Shepherd's Pie Soup takes the classic comfort food and transforms it into a rich, hearty soup with all the flavors you love—savory beef, tender vegetables, and creamy mashed potatoes in every spoonful!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef 🥩
1 tablespoon olive oil 🫒
1 onion, diced 🧅
2 carrots, diced 🥕
2 celery stalks, diced 🌿
3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
3 cups beef broth 🥣
1 cup frozen peas 🟢
1 cup frozen corn 🌽
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons tomato paste 🍅
1 teaspoon dried thyme 🌿
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 cups mashed potatoes (prepared separately) 🥔
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese 🧀
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 🌿
Instructions:
Brown the Ground Beef:
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Sauté Vegetables:
Add the diced onion, carrots, and celery to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Add Broth and Seasonings:
Stir in the beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Add Peas and Corn:
Stir in the frozen peas and corn. Let the soup simmer for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are heated through.
Prepare Mashed Potatoes:
While the soup simmers, prepare the mashed potatoes if you haven't already. You can use leftover mashed potatoes or quickly whip up a fresh batch.
Serve with Mashed Potatoes and Cheese:
Ladle the soup into bowls and top each serving with a scoop of mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese and fresh parsley for garnish.
This Shepherd's Pie Soup is a cozy and flavorful twist on the classic dish, perfect for cold days or when you're craving something hearty! 🥣🥔🧀
