Yesterday was the last day of class for this year. The students were asked to choose one of their favorite works they have learned this past year and prepare to present it to their parents/siblings . They all prepared diligently and joyfully- they really were excited and prepared to share what they’ve learned this year ❤️
Thank you parents for sharing this day in the classroom to participate in your child’s chosen work.
We all enjoyed the fellowship of sharing with breakfast.
A May crowning and student participant Mass completed the morning. Thank you families for being your child’s primary teachers in your homes.

This past Sunday, students put their faith into action. The first commandment of Jesus is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength- the second is to Love Your Neighbors. We read James 2:20, Faith without works is dead.
24 birthday cake kits will be delivered to the Western Bureau Co. Food Pantry this evening - a work of mercy to our neighbors.
Students are listening to Jesus’ command to show love outside of ourselves. Donuts were enjoyed when the work was completed 🍩😊

To say who was more blessed last evening when many of our CCD children and parents gathered to sing Christmas Carols to 4 different groups of Senior Saints at Liberty Village is hard to say… the Seniors smiled and waved and sang along with the children. The sometimes rare moments that these Seniors get to see children’s smiling, happy faces and hear little voices was truly a gift for all of us. Joy to the World.
