Today, as students head back to school, we are praying over every student, teacher, administrator, and staff member.

We pray that God would protect them, guide them, give them wisdom, and surround them with His peace throughout this new school year. May every school be a place where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged.

City Church will play the winner of the 6:30pm game between #2 1st Congregational and #3 EV Free.

We would like to give a couple shoutouts as the softball season is nearing its end.

We wish to extend our deepest gratitude to our biggest fan, Matt Torres, who shows up every week to support the team! He’s always there in his jersey, rooting for us and handing out high fives and praise.

Last week, Pastor Justin of Revolution Church reached out to us and wanted to offer Matt the opportunity of a lifetime. Pastor Justin and his team displayed an incredible act of sportsmanship and fellowship by allowing Matt to bat and race on down to 1st base.

Pastor Justin exemplifies the love and compassion we all ought to have, and his team is a perfect reflection of his leadership. We enjoy playing against and fellowshipping with them.

Please make sure to give Matt some praise when you see him next! And let’s continue to give thanks to the Lord for working deep to unify our church community in Sheboygan County! This is what fellowship is all about!

Also shout out to our City Church Softball team as they have completed the regular season with a record of 5-5. We continue to pray for healing hands as this year our softball team has faced many challenges with injuries to our players. We are beyond blessed to see a surge of youth in our Church step up and fellowship with us on the field. God’s glory and grace is on display watching the next generation shine and grow together.

Come out and cheer them on in the playoffs as they play at 6pm on 8/17 at Wildwood against the #1 team Crossroads! Should they find the edge to defeat Crossroads, City Church will play at 8pm in the championship match!
