This Sunday, we're grateful to recognize First Reformed Church of Sheboygan Falls and their heart for serving neighbors in need.

In addition to hosting the Sheboygan Falls Food Pantry, the church operates Shepherd's Closet, a clothing ministry that partners with Love INC to provide clothing to neighbors throughout the community. Through these ministries, First Reformed Church continues to be a place where practical needs are met and Christ's love is shared in tangible ways.

Thank you to the congregation of First Reformed Church for faithfully serving Sheboygan Falls and the surrounding community. Your generosity and compassion are making a difference in the lives of many.

This Sunday, we want to recognize First Christian Reformed Church of Oostburg as one our partnering churches in the community.

First Oostburg CRC is a church that consistently opens its doors to the community. From hosting a monthly community meal and ESL classes to partnering with other Oostburg-area churches for this spring’s Brat Fry benefiting Love INC, they are always looking for ways to serve their neighbors.

They will also be hosting Love INC's upcoming Cost of Poverty Experience this September, helping our community better understand the challenges many families face every day.

Thank you, First CRC, for being such a faithful partner and for the many ways you help make our community stronger.

“Made me know I never have to walk alone.”

That simple reflection from one participant captures so much of what New Way Community is all about.

We recently wrapped up our New Way Community, where neighbors gathered around meals, classes, conversation, prayer, childcare, encouragement, and relationships. New friendships were formed, stories were shared, faith was strengthened, and people walked alongside one another through both challenges and growth.

One volunteer shared, “I’m inspired by the faithfulness of volunteers and the bravery of many of the participants.”

This term was our largest New Way Community to date, with 26 participants completing programming, nearly 400 meals shared through 13 church partners, and almost 600 volunteer hours invested into building meaningful community.

Thank you to every participant, volunteer, mentor, facilitator, childcare worker, and church partner who made this season possible.

This Sunday, we’re honored to recognize Grace Episcopal Church, Sheboygan WI for the many ways they continue to serve our community with compassion and hospitality.

Over the past year, Grace Episcopal has actively supported Love INC’s refugee resettlement efforts and continues to walk alongside refugee families in our area as they build new lives.

On Saturday and Sundays this past winter, they also partnered with the Sheboygan County Warming Center to host The Middle Ground, a daytime program that provided a warm, safe place for unhoused neighbors to find shelter, rest, and connection during the cold winter months.

Yesterday, during the church’s spring cleanup and work day, they were excited to welcome some familiar faces from The Middle Ground who wanted the opportunity to give back and serve alongside them.

Thank you, Grace Episcopal Church, for being such a beautiful example of what it means to live out your faith in action.

Last year, volunteers in our Connection Center made over 4,000 phone calls to neighbors in crisis within our community - each one answered with care, patience, and a desire to help. We’re incredibly grateful for their willingness to serve and the difference they make every day.

Thank you to United Way of Sheboygan County for recognizing this team with the Spirit Award as Group Volunteers of the Year!

This Sunday, we’re honored to recognize a group of churches who continue to show what it looks like to serve together in Sheboygan County:

First Reformed Church of Oostburg
Hingham Church
Faith Reformed Church
First Presbyterian Oostburg Church
First Oostburg CRC

This coming Saturday, these churches are combining their efforts to host a brat fry to support us at Love INC of Sheboygan County. Proceeds will help support our daily operations, which includes call center and programs like New Way classes.

More than just an event, this is a reflection of who they are - churches committed to generosity, collaboration, and caring for their neighbors.
