Right here in Shawnee, we’re especially grateful for today’s prayers from the monks of St. Gregory's Abbey, Shawnee, Oklahoma.🙏 Today, they are specifically praying for our Shawnee health ministry - including our team members, providers, patients and their families. Their prayers tomorrow are dedicated to our Seminole campus.

They are dedicating one day this year to each Catholic health ministry in honor of their Abbey's 150th anniversary. Their support reminds us that our work in caring for others is part of a much larger mission rooted in God's love. 💚

This afternoon, the attendees of the National Benedictine Formator’s conference visited the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine and Museum, the Oklahoma City National Memorial, had adoration and vespers at the St. Joseph Old Cathedral and then were treated to a wonderful dinner at the Petroleum Club on the 35th floor of the BancFirst tower overlooking OKC.

The Abbey hosted the conference in the Abbot Mark Braun Retreat House and Abbey Convention Center. Attendees came from all over the US and Mexico.

Join the U.S. Church from June 3-11 in praying this Novena to the Sacred Heart, which will conclude with the consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

This Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus draws its daily devotions from the Litany of the Sacred Heart. Each day reflects on the wisdom of saints and pontiffs on the Sacred Heart and offers opportunities for prayer and action, framed by Pope Francis ’ encyclical Dilexit Nos (He Loved Us) and Pope Leo XIV’ s apostolic exhortation Dilexi Te (I Have Loved You). The novena concludes with the consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
