It’s and the chance to remind you that the Festival of Sharing is an annual service opportunity for United Methodists to prepare hygiene for people in need. Join others in sharing Christ’s love and compassion by filling kits with hope, care, and encouragement for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

Hygiene kits are small packages that make a meaningful difference. Each hygiene kit includes every day essentials: soap, towels, a toothbrush—offering comfort and care and a fresh start each day.

Please pack these items in to a one gallon resealable plastic bag:
—one washcloth
—one fingernail or toenail clipper (either is acceptable; remove from package)
—one bath size bar of soap (in original package)
—one toothbrush (in original package)
—one travel size deodorant stick (3.4 oz or less, non-aerosol)
—one travel size lotion (3.4 oz or less, fragrance free)
—one travel size shampoo (3.4 oz or less)
—one travel size toothpaste (3.4 oz or less, with an expiration date at least one year out)
—one sturdy wide-tooth comb (remove from package; must have at least 6 inches of teeth; pocket combs or picks not acceptable; rattail combs and combs without handles are acceptable)

Please place all items inside the one gallon bag, remove any excess air, and seal tightly. All items must be new. Please do not include notes, money, or extra items. All hygiene kits need to be brought to SUMC by Sunday, 9/13/26. Please reach out to Melissa Subit with any questions.
