FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Mrs. Josephine Mills Lindsay, 80, of 145 Hill Street, Carlisle, South Carolina, departed this earthly life on Monday, August 31, 2026, at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at Mount Hopewell Baptist Church in Sharon, South Carolina.

Pastor Daemon S. Moss will officiate, and the Rev. John Hill will serve as the Eulogist.

Burial will follow in the Mount Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Lindsay will be placed in the church at 11:00 AM.

King’s Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery Street, Chester, South Carolina, is in charge of arrangements.

Please keep the Lindsay Family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sis. Josephine Mills Lindsay, 80, who passed away on yesterday at her residence in Carlisle, South Carolina.

Sis. Lindsay had a beautiful disposition and was dearly loved and respected by the Mt. Hopewell Baptist Church family. Her kind spirit and loving presence will truly be missed.

Please keep her children, Sis. Catherine Lindsay and Bro. Leslie Lindsay, along with the entire Lindsay family, in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
