‼️Service at Old Hopewell CANCELLED‼️

Due to rain forecasted for this weekend, the cleanup and worship service at the Old Mt. Hopewell Church site have been canceled.

Both events will be rescheduled for later this year. We appreciate your willingness to help and participate as we continue to preserve and honor these historic church grounds located on in the Bullock's Creek Community.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this notice with family, friends, and community members.

‼️ATTENTION ‼️

We are asking all members, former members, family, and friends to come out and help with the cleanup of the Old Mount Hopewell Church grounds on Saturday, May 30th at 9:00 AM.

These historic grounds are very special to our church family, as Mount Hopewell Baptist Church stood on this site from 1899 until 1938. Located on Oak Tree Road in the Bullock’s Creek Community in Sharon, these sacred grounds hold a rich history and legacy for our church and community. As we prepare the property for worship service, we need as much help as possible to clear and beautify the area.

Please bring saws, yard tools, rakes, clippers, gloves, and any equipment that may help with the cleanup. There is much work to be done, and every helping hand will be greatly appreciated. Please contact any member of the Trustee Board to participate.

Following the cleanup, we invite everyone to join us for worship service at the Old Mount Hopewell Church site on Sunday, May 31st at 11:00 AM. Please dress appropriately for outdoor worship as we gather together on these sacred and historic grounds.

Fellowship:A Mother’s Day Dinner will be served immediately following the service in the Edward J. Means Fellowship Hall
