As an organization, Catholic Land Movement condemns Freemasonry, in union with Catholic Teaching. The Catholic Church maintains that Freemasonry is fundamentally incompatible with the faith, a stance reaffirmed in the 1983 Declaration on Masonic Associations, signed by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (later Pope Benedict XVI). It states that Masonic principles are irreconcilable with Catholic doctrine. The condemnation was reaffirmed on November 2023 by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith under Pope Francis. This prohibition stems from a series of historical documents, starting with Pope Clement XII’s 1738 bull “In eminenti apostolatus specula”, which condemned the organization's secrecy and oaths.
No member of Catholic Land Movement is allowed to be a Free Mason or accept its doctrine. We thoroughly repudiate the organization from its beginnings to its pernicious work in our day.
Let us pray to Our Lady for the conversion of all Free Masons, for the conversion of souls part of organizations or nations influenced by Free Masonic principles.
