✨ Sunday Takeaways: When the Glory Fills the Temple ✨
What an incredible word this morning from Apostle Lynette Hammond!
We were deeply challenged to move beyond "doing church" and truly position ourselves for a divine encounter.
If you missed it or just want to reflect, here are the powerful takeaways from today’s message:
1. Obedience Precedes the Presence 🕊️
The Tabernacle (Exodus 40): God’s glory filled the tabernacle only after Moses and the Israelites followed His specific instructions.
The Lesson: God’s presence descends upon what is surrendered, prepared, and in order. When the Holy Spirit truly moves, human effort yields, chains break, and lives are supernaturally changed.
2. Unity Attracts the Glory 🤝
Solomon’s Temple (2 Chronicles 5): The glory fell when the worshipers and musicians came together "as one," with one sound and one focus.
The Lesson: Division repels what unity attracts. When God’s glory takes over, we have to be willing to let Him interrupt our planned programs and schedules to let the Holy Spirit do the preaching, healing, and delivering.
3. YOU Are the Temple 🏛️
The New Covenant (1 Corinthians 3:16): The same glory that once filled physical buildings now resides inside of us through the Holy Spirit.
The Lesson: You are a "living stone" carefully shaped and positioned by God. No one is insignificant—everyone has a necessary place and purpose! As we are built together, our ultimate goal is holiness, which creates the atmosphere where His glory dwells.
🌟 The Call to Action:
Arise & Shine!
The church is not a physical building; we are a people being built together to carry and reveal God's presence to a dark world. Let’s get up from our places of limitation this week and reflect the brilliant glory of God to everyone we meet!
