worship style with both traditional and contemporary worship services. Our church is on a busy corner of Eglin Parkway in the heart of the Fort Walton Beach, Shalimar, and Eglin Air Force Base communities. You are invited to try any of our worship services weekly! We offer two Traditional Style Services at 8:00 and 11:00 am in our Sanctuary, and a Modern Service at 9:30 our the Family Life Center

YOU CAN'T PAY A BILL YOU'LL NEVER AFFORD

Most of us secretly picture the end of our lives like an audit. Some eternal judge pulls up a spreadsheet of everything we did, plus column on one side, minus column on the other, and adds it all up.

Say the plus column ran long. Say you were the second best human who ever lived, next to Jesus. One entry in the minus column, and the total still doesn't clear.

The reason is simple. Sin separates us from authentic, real relationship with God, and there is only one thing that can remove the penalty of sin.

We earned that penalty. We deserve death because of it. But God gives eternal life, and He gives it through Jesus, who offered Himself as a sacrifice for you and for me.

You'll never cover this bill, and that's the point. Nothing you do earns your way to Heaven, so the only thing left is to open your hands and receive it as a gift.

WHY TRYING HARDER WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH

Grace isn't just an idea. It isn't just a concept. Grace is the vehicle by which we're able to live a life in relationship with God.

Without grace, we have zero hope. It doesn't matter how many good things we do, how hard we try to love someone, how much money we give, or how many church services we show up to.

Salvation is found in grace because it's the one thing we can't do for ourselves. No amount of effort closes that gap.

Paul puts the whole rescue on God in Ephesians 2:4-5: "God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us, made us alive with Christ, even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace."

Ephesians 2:6 keeps going: "He also raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavens in Christ Jesus." Same seat as His Son, the same inheritance. We didn't earn that. He gifted it.

The whole thing lands in Ephesians 2:8-10: "You are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift, not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do."

So what would change today if you stopped trying to earn what He's already handed you?
