The 2026 Children’s Reading Program is only a few months away! Would you consider helping to sponsor some of our prizes this year? Check out our Amazon wish list (link below) and help encourage kids to “Tune into a Good Book” this summer.

The weather is looking great! Come out Saturday and grab some BBQ and baked goodies. Fill a bag of books for a suggested donation of $5.00.

All set up and ready to see the children who completed their Summer Reading Program contracts! We are so proud of them for Exploring Books this summer. Parents, we will be here until noon today with games that will allow the kids to win extra prizes.

For those who can’t make it this morning, the prize bags are marked and will be on the rack by the puzzle shelves for pick up during library hours.

With a record 144 children doing the Summer Reading Program, we need a little more help to purchase all the prizes needed this year. What an exciting “problem”. Here is the wish list link with the remaining items needed. Thank you in advance if you choose to help out in this way!

Such an exciting “problem” to have that our number of children participating just keeps growing! I’ve had to add more items to our Amazon Wish List for folks to help sponsor the prizes. Please click on comments in original post to see if you can help with our Children’s Reading Program. We currently have 113 children participating with contracts still coming in everyday!

On October 12th, I will be traveling to one of the largest used bookstores on the East Coast. I have a long list of books to possibly replace, and will also be looking for great deals to add new books to our collection. I currently have several people who have donated a specific amount for this endeavor. Would YOU like to help? If so, please message or comment the amount of your donation and if you specifically want your gift to go towards children’s items, fiction, non fiction, or any section. My plan is to only spend what is given instead of using any money from our daily operating fund. Thank you in advance if you choose to donate! Once I return, I will post a photo of everything I’m able to purchase.
