I feel the need to share about a few things that the end time Church needs to do to enter into all that God has for us. We are living in the Laodicean Church era and we need to take a particular posture of spirit to overcome. That posture is to come in the opposite spirit of lukewarmness and stoke the refiners fire.

Actually God is doing some of the stoking as we see judgement coming to the house of God first (1 Peter 4:17) with the various scandals and exposures of some very public ministries. I notice an uptick in how God is holding people to accountability to things we have neglected and gotten away with in the past but is now calling us to account.

There are two biblical themes that the Lord has made clear to me through sounds I heard in the Spirit. One was an alarm clock ringing and the other was a gunshot.

Ephesians 5:14
“Wake up, sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

Romans 13:11 ...understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber...

1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us...

The Lord is saying that the end time race to the finish line (the return of Christ) has begun and those who are at the end of this 2000 year relay race are called to run the hardest to the finish line. There is a great cloud of witnesses of those who went before us cheering us on from Heaven.

So what do we do to run the race hard? Cast of every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles, but how? We all know how difficult it can be.

I believe first of all we have to have a clear vision of what we are striving to attain. Where there is no vision, the people perish: Proverbs 29:18 Do we really understand the potential of what has been offered to us?

Romans 8:18 I consider our present sufferings not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

So let's talk about strategy. The weapons of our warfare are mighty through God for pulling down strongholds. 1 Corinthians 10:4

The primary weapon of our warfare is what God will use to bring justice on the earth.

"And will not God bring justice to his faithful ones who cry out to Him day and night? Luke 18:1-8

Are you one of God's faithful ones? The end time prayer movement is the primary way God will bring justice (the great commission being fulfilled) on the earth. I want to share an example story of a friend and how I am seeing this happen right before my eyes but I don't want to make this too long.

Here are some of the promises of a glorious future and final outcome that should motivate us.

To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. Revelation 2:7

His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. Daniel 7:14

Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Isaiah 2:4

They will be priests of God and the Messiah, and will rule with him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:6

But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever-yes, for ever and ever.' Daniel 7:18

On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; 8 he will swallow up death forever...
Isaiah 25:6-8

What does it mean to be a soldier in the army of God?

It means you are defending the rule of a king that is from another kingdom. It is one that is not of this world. John 18:36. The kingdom we are defending and seeking to expand is the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:2. We are defending it against a kingdom of darkness. Colossians 1:13. The world is in darkness.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. John 3:19
..but; The kingdoms of the world will become the kingdom of our God and of His Christ and he will reign forever and ever. Revelation 11:15. This will happen at the last trumpet. The question is will you get to be part of it? So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:12.

If we are going to fight the good fight effectively and be a soldier in the army of God, we need to understand that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6

What is the current battlefield you are called to fight on? It starts in the battlefield of the mind but the final result should be territory conquered.

When we preach the Gospel of Christ into the atmosphere enthroning Jesus over the land as Ephesians 3:10 reveals; "His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms" something interesting happens.

Look what happened in Luke 10 when Jesus sent the 70 out ahead of Him to every city that He was about to visit. The disciples came back from their short term mission trip saying; “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”

Preaching the good news to the people weakened the principalities over the region casting them down by removing the idol/demon worship in the territory. The result was this;

vs 18 “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

Even Jesus was rejoicing; ..full of joy through the Holy Spirit, He said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

One of the main battles that the end time body of Christ needs to fight through in these last days is the Laodicean spirit, Revelation 3:14-22. We have so many things to occupy, pacify and distract us with that we can become lukewarm and in danger of being rejected by God. This is a most crucial time in Church history and we need to be very watchful of ourselves. Luke 12:35-44

The reward for obedience at this time that is offered by the Lord boggles the mind. Sit with Him on His throne? Common..
Lets take up the Lord's wise counsel and buy from Him the gold refined in the fire so we can have true riches (wisdom purity godly character) white garments, (righteousness good works) and salve for the eyes (eyes to see what the carnal unredeemed world cannot see).

The Lord says to be earnest and repent because He is at the door knocking and wants to come into your life and have some intimate deep give and take conversations with you over a meal. (I actually heard knocking on my door in the Spirit a few times while in bed) Because what is being offered to us is so great the consequences of failure to respond is also great. Luke 19:24

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
