Due to the Wayne County CDC COVID Community Level increasing from "Medium" to "High" all service members, DoD civilian employees, onsite DoD contractor
personnel, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status will adhere to the
following protective measures as prescribed by DoD Guidance, effective
Saturday 7 January 2023:

FACE COVERINGS - Indoor mask wear is required within all facilities at
Seymour Johnson AFB

Are you busy getting those shoe boxes all packed and ready to go? It's almost time to send them to children all over the world! Our deadline is Thursday, 10 November, due to the upcoming federal holiday… Veterans Day. Bring your boxes to the Chapel Annex by 4:30 p.m.

SJAFB Chaplain Corps Operation Christmas Child Campaign is underway! Empty shoe boxes are located in the Chapel Annex and Narthex. Filled shoe boxes are due to the Chapel Annex Thursday, 10 November. This year, we will cover the cost of shipping and other project costs. So… no donation for your shoe box is required! Just use the shoe box label to identify whether your box is for a boy or girl and the correct age category. This year we wish to ship 100 shoe boxes overseas!!!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This annual international health campaign is organized to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause and prevention. Many chapel families have been/ are affected by this disease. On Sunday, October 23, the Protestant community was photographed wearing “pink attire” to honor those affected. Blessings!
