As summer comes to a close and the leaves begin to change, it’s the perfect time to support a place that creates lasting memories, fosters meaningful connections, and helps lives flourish.

No matter how you choose to participate in our fall giving campaign, you can help support Lutherlyn’s mission of extending the ministry and mission of Jesus Christ, by inviting all people to engage themselves in an intentional, challenging, exciting, and fun outdoor Christian community.

From Wednesday, September 2 – Thursday, September 3 for every $2 donated to Lutherlyn through Thrivent's giving platform, Thrivent will match $1 up to a total of $10,000*. Plus, Thrivent pays all online processing fees, meaning 100% of your gift will go right to Lutherlyn.

A gift of ....
$5 helps provide materials at the craft cabin
$25 provides bible study materials for a cabin group
$50 helps provide new sports equipment for summer camp
$100 provides First Aid & CPR training/certification for a summer staff member
$500 covers the camper photos and take home materials for the summer
$750 covers a full campership for 1 camper for a week of summer camp
$1,000 provides the fees for an international summer staff member's work visa and insurance.

St. Paul's has supported Camp Lutherlyn in many ways over the years, providing camperships for our youth to spend a week there over the summers. Lutherlyn supports and strengthens the faith lives of so many, and was where Pastor Ryan discerned his call to ministry.

Since 1965, Luther Bowl has brought together students, staff, and alumni from across the country for a weekend of flag football, fellowship, and friendly competition. As we celebrate 200 years of United Lutheran Seminary, we invite you to come home for Luther Bowl 2026. This year's weekend is going to be bigger and better than ever. It is a Homecoming celebration, offering the chance to reconnect with classmates, meet new friends, and celebrate the community that continues to shape leaders for the Church.

Whether you played in Luther Bowl years ago and want to do so again, will cheer from the sidelines, or simply want to reconnect with classmates and professors, we hope you'll join us for this special homecoming weekend.

📚 Continuing Education Opportunity

Greek? ἑλιφαίνω! – A Quick Refresher to Make Greek Usable Again
Led by Prof. Mark G. Vitalis Hoffman (aka "VH")

Make your Luther Bowl weekend even more rewarding by participating in this engaging continuing education workshop.

Maybe you took Greek back in the day when there was lots of memorizing of vocabulary and paradigms but have forgotten most of it. You won’t believe how much easier it is these days with the help of Bible software and the VH technicolor approach to grammar. Maybe you took it more recently but would like to be reminded how to make better use of Bible software. Maybe you just want some raspberries or a chance to practice the interpretive Greek grammar dance moves. Whatever the case (nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, or vocative), this refresher workshop will hopefully give you some insights and incentives on using Greek. If (< future conditional clause) you have a computing device, bring (< aorist imperative) it with you! It’s going to be a party-ciple!

We hope pastors and church professionals will attend as part of their professional development.
